I just read the lyrics and just was a little angry at myself for my quick hit and run interpretation when I floored it, I just centered on the "accident" too literally : the bleeding - couldn't lift weight - traffic signals crossed - and took the "vivid as a car wreck" literally I guess.

It may seem strange, but i believe the whooe song was written around the word "Vivid," or at least the different interpretations it provides.

you can pretty much switch that verse with the first verse, and get the same feeling, for me.

@sirka067 Actually I thnk it will someday, the 90's indie/grunge wave was in a way a reaction against how monumentally mainstream music sucked at that time, ppl started their own rockbands that played their songs like it was the last time in life instead of standing the stadium rockers and the euro-techno.

Hopefully someday musically skilled ppl do a similar revolt agains the mainstream wave of americas top idol kind of music.

Buffalo Tom on the other hand I think have faded, and that's it.
