actually it was us in chicago that were the last to see him we were his students he taught us like 3 or 4 days before he passed hes was so strong physical even the week he passed i agree it is sad he was the best for sure i went 5 yrs undefeated in sport jiu-jitsu best teacher chicago was his home now its diffrent

I am always terribly sad when I see Master Carlson Gracie in any video. I feel as if we are all at a great loss by his passing. My understanding is that Mr. Joao Crus and his students were the last to see him before he passed away. I only wish I could've been there.  What an amazing seminar I bet that was!
