i just bought one of these cameras and want to make videos on it but my software crashes every time i enter a clip...any suggestions what to use?

yeah maybe not the best, but in fairness it was a dirty dull evening and getting dark... so you cold argue it captured that well ;-)

@owen247 also prolly filmen in full auto mode, u can enable manual mode n put on the "cloudy" white balance.. n get much beter results in these situations. play with the manual mode every now n then rly rewarding :) (have this cam myself) cheers

Dont think you should use a vid camera as a still. Its just another feature but if you want still shots you should use a decent still camera.

Am thinking of getting a Panny sd10 but have heard they are not very good indoors i.e. in low light situations. Have you noticed low light problems? Thanks

yeah,, indoor poorly lit isnt great, but what camcorder is ?

even a canon xh-a1 isn't perfectly lit indoor. unless you use a slow shutter. That is the reason why we need good lighting
