yeah, i completely agree with you. due to the "unexpected" success of Stone Sour, i think they definitely try to make this whole album less catchy and more musically intricate. which is fine if you are listening to the average metal band. nobody cares. but it's Slip-fucking-knot, melodic nu-metal band(or pop math-metal considering Mudavayne can technically be categorized as the same genre) whatever you like to label. Melody line is crucial.

Yeah. Iowa is still the best of the best. Vol3 got soggy (still good album but compared to Iowa) and this is even more soggy.
