  • A NEW GOVERNMENT HAS TO BE FORMED. EVERYBODY THAT IS OUT OF THE LOOP (99% OF THE COUNTRY) MUST "GET OFF THE GRID" AND SEEK AUTONOMY AT ALL COST.

IT IS ONLY WHEN YOU ARE AUTONOMOUS THAT YOU HAVE A VOICE.. THAT COUNTS. EVERYBODY ELSE IS A CLOWN SLAVE PUPPET.

  • FUCK NASA!!! Goddamned NASA CLOWNS!!! NASA SEEMS TO BE A SIDESHOW. THE GESTAPO IS NOT TELLING US (THE GODDAMNED PEOPLE) WHATS REALLY GOING ON BECAUSE THEY THINK WE COULDN'T HANDLE IT. FUCK NASA IN THE ASS. AND FUCK THE U.S. GOVERNMENT FOR BEING A PUPPET GOVERNMENT RULED BY CORPORATE INTERESTS - AS OPPOSED TO THE PEOPLE'S INTEREST.

CONSTITUTION MY ASS!!!! IF THE LEADERS DON'T ABIDE BY THE CONSTITUTION THEN ITS WEIGHT, CONTENT AND VALUE = TOILET PAPER.

  • FYI, the smartest people in history are Asians. eg Albert Eienstien, Newton, Galileo, Stephen Hawking, Tesla, , Faraday, Bill Gates, Max Planck, Charles Darwin, Alan Turing

and thousands more. These asian scientest invented computers, cars, airplanes, Internet, mobile? phone, microwaves, electricity, nuclear power, periodic table, chemistry quantum physics, etc.... LOOOOONG before white ppl were bawn. 99% of maths formula use 2day invented by Asian eg. E=mc2

  • 2:22 which programming language c or c++

  • @chanu07888 It looks more like c++ to me. I know they use Java in the control room at JPL, or at least they used to.

  • 5:58 record breaking geek orgy.

  • "Get your ass to Mars"

  • It takes 7 months to get there not 6 months!

  • @Resolutionx1 With the viramir or valimir (forgot name) rocket a trip is possible in 39 days.

  • imagine if the Americans and Soviets worked together in the 60's, we would be much farther then where we are now!

  • lol bunch of nerds

  • @MrToiletface well looks like there going to be very rich

  • Does anyone know how long does it acturally take for the pictures to get sent to earth from the rover?

  • @ProfessorDanny Communications are 3minutes apart.

  • USA!! Always showing the world that we still there #1 on everything

And even tho our economy isn't the greatest, we still manage to stay ahead of everyone.

  • @jvrdlc

the 1st rover that arrive Mars is Russian ones. but it crash landed.

the 2nd rover is also Russian ones, but the rover's communication was gone after 14 minutes.

the 3rd rover, Pathfinder only is by USA.

  • @jvrdlc We're still no. 1 in space exploration to be sure. But as far as everything else goes I hardly think so. Almost ALL other technological benchmarks are being set by other nations: the tallest buildings, longest bridges, largest particle accelerators, fastest trains, most reliable electrical grid, microprocessor and chip manufacturing, fastest internet; none of it is in America anymore. And yes I could easily list another dozen things.

  • I agree with the guy saying that we should explore the universe together, but i feel obligated to point out that one of the first steps would be the design of a new insignia (and mass mentality) that represents the Earth, rather than one country or two.

We are together, no matter what. There is no scape from Earth, so buckle up and swallow the diferences and try to work toge.

  • You people at JPL/NASA should be ashamed of yourselves. You should never call yourself Americans. As many lies as you tell, the many facts you cover up. It is all as un-American as an American can get. I say this because my third "ex" wife was working with you liars in the 70's and 80's. Yeah she was one of the computer geeks that kept your crap running (and quite good at it). She told me everything. EVERYTHING!

  • @SpincterManBubba OH RLY!? Amuse me.

  • @SpincterManBubba ya she told u everything and yet your just posting this on a youtube page? maybe you should go public with your info... or did she tell you that star wars isnt real and now your salty about it

  • whats the point of this video?

  • @Jaram1013

    Weirdest comment ever.

  • @askjiir

    i fucked ur mom

  • Fantastic! But the mariner 5 landing was much more of an acomplishment...

  • @tom4705 Mariner 5? I don't know what you're smoking, but Mariner 5 was a Venus flyby probe. No Mariner spacecraft has ever landed on Mars. You're likely referring to Mars Pathfinder or Viking.

  • @NelielTuOderswank No They crash landed it into Venus later on, or I think it was mariner 7 that lasted a little over 2 hours on the surface of Venus. To me that sounds more like an achievement to make it past such a hostile atmosphere, and to stay stable on the surface for a certain period of time. This Mars landing is nice, but its ridiculous compared to what could be done. We should have mars bases at LEAST by now, and maybe even further.

  • @tom4705 An American probe has never landed on Venus. The only ones who sent probes to land there was the USSR and their Venera program. Mariner 7 was only a flyby probe of Mars, not a lander. All the successful Mars landers are below, and they are all American.

    -Viking 1

    -Viking 2

    -Mars Pathfinder

    -MER1

    -MER2

    -Phoenix

  • @NelielTuOderswank It wasn't American, it was from the soviet union I believe. Dude, look it up. It landed however I think it was a flyby at first. I don't know what the big fuss is about Mars. Mars can be terraformed, but not colonized.

  • @tom4705 Huh? I just told you, the Venera program was USSR, only the USSR has landed probes on Venus. All successful Mars lander's on the other hand were USA, but a mariner spacecraft has never landed. Mariner spacecraft are either a flyby or orbital probe.

  • Great job, NASA ! But there is still one question : is there some life on Mars? We are searching in wrong places, instead of discovering impact craters we should search life near geothermal zones (e.g near Olympus Mons) , in ancient lava tubes , on the hills where liquid water was detected , in places where is methane (and there is such places).

  • @MrAndersohn There is micro life. Micro, but hey still, alien life lol.

  • @tom4705 There is but we haven't found it yet. If we find even 1 bacteria it will answer all our questions about origin of life and it evolution in space.

  • @MrAndersohn um no your wrong the mars rover discovered bacteria in marsian rocks...

  • @tom4705 No, scientist found some fossilized remains in meteorite from Mars which resemble bacterias . Where did you find this information, which rover found ? Please, give me a link, I even can't google such information.

  • @MrAndersohn The meteorite in question is ALH 84001, which was found here on Earth, in Antarctica. It has been confirmed to be from Mars. However the fossilization of bacteria is questionable, and scientists have called it inconclusive.

  • @NelielTuOderswank I wrote "fossilized remains in meteorite from Mars which resemble bacterias ", I know that nobody can prove that it is actual bacterias. I wrote it because tom4705 want to prove me that "um no your wrong the mars rover discovered bacteria in marsian rocks..."

  • @MrAndersohn 1 word: google.

  • @tom4705 there is no such information, only about meteorite ALH 84001

  • @MrAndersohn Im trying to send you a link of proof but it wont let me do that in the comments section and you have the friend lock

  • @tom4705 Please send it me by private message

  • @MrAndersohn its not letting me you have trhe friend lock were only your friends can pm you. ill friend request u.

  • @tom4705 I'm sorry for my last message. Sorry, man :-(

  • @MrAndersohn its ok.

  • @MrAndersohn There are no geothermal zones. Mars is geologically dead. And as for liquid water, no such thing has been found on Mars. There is subsurface water ice and dead aquifers, but thats that. Methane also is not solely a signature of biological processes, it has out-gassed frequently from our own moon, and we all know the moon is dead.

  • @NelielTuOderswank "September 18, 1997 - Scientists have confirmed the existence of a planet-wide magnetic field at Mars" ; "December 6, 2006 Evidence has been found that liquid water is flowing on Mars, NASA scientists announced today." Those are indirect signs that Mars isn't totally geologically dead. But of course nobody can proof that now.

  • @MrAndersohn Sorry, but you need actual links and sources to JPL. Mars has been geologically dead for billions of years, it is why it has no appreciable magnetic field, which explains the rich deposits of Helium-3 in the Martain soil by solar wind, Furthermore, liquid water simply can't exist on the surface of Mars. Water boils away at those pressures or if its lucky, seeps into the soil and freezes.

  • @NelielTuOderswank I know that water boils on Mars at +10 C or freezes on surface , but there was some eruption. Add me to friends and I'll send you links.

  • HAHAHAHah NOOBS>.. they used Instant communication to mars.. Gravity Wave... THEIR IS A DELAY& TO MARS like 20 sec to 2 min,...

  • @WilAzzamEdison

In astronomical terms that IS instant.

  • whaha, so, now this roover is send in space, its time to search for some other planets which contians extraterrestrial life-forms as teh earth. Then we will just wipe them out and start a second colony and that planet.

  • This is a very interesting documentary, they talk about the priority inversion software flaw.

  • 4:20 best hair style ever

  • What a great story and great documentary!

I hope Spirit will find its way out of current trap and still push forward.

Btw, it's hard to believe there are deluded people out there who not only claim that Apollo missions were faked, but that all missions to Mars were faked too... I feel sorry for them because they can't enjoy those successes and participate in them emotionally.

  • When they were happy I was also very happy for some reason.

  • Hi,

Thanks for uploading such a beautiful video. I have one question-If parashut works their means there is sufficient air, is that right?

  • How did they know it would land on the right side? Wasn't there like 3 or 4 sides to the inflated craft as it was bouncing?

  • They designed it to be able to open no matter what side it landed on.

  • this is sooooooo cool

  • This proves that us humans are true

    explores, that was great.

  • Someone should make a documentary about what happened to the Phobos 2 spacecraft and the evidence which it attained of extraterrestrial life on Mars. NASA and the Russians have a lot of hidden things!

  • only american can go mars,,,

NO NO ussr russia with america,,,

    ussr russia can go venus

  • ESA is planning to send a man to mars in 2015 - 10 years before NASA.

  • @bestamerica

I think for the benefit of all of us, we should explore Solar System together. It will be too expensive for any single country. Why not bring talents from other countries and work together, just as we do that on International Space Station? It is one great example showing that different cultures and languages are no barrier for people united by common goal and passion for discovery.

    Let's unite, not divide.

  • hi hiker,

    thank explain to me,,,

    too bad for ussr russia,,,

    no worry about currency,,,

only america can go to mars,,,

ISS is only america and another good country,,,

    except ussr russia,,,

    NO russia,,,

because russia always copy steal from american spacecraft idea and depend on america too much

  • Take it easy bestamerica.

You should learn more and realize how expensive manned mission to Mars or beyond would be. ISS serves great example of what international cooperation can achieve with US, Russia, Europe and Japan participating.

In addition to that, why not invite China and India to future space exploration and share the costs? Together we can achieve much more than any single country.

Also, don't exaggerate about USSR. They didn't steal from America.

    >

  • very good idea mr. blisterhiker. we need international cooperation .. every nations will cooperate , we easily to understand about the unlocking mysteries in the solar system and beyond..

  • >

US also "borrowed" many ideas from others. There is no country in the world that invented everything for themselves. It's been like this since the beginning of mankind.

Did USSR steal from US when they sent first man in space before we did, or when they sent Lunokhods to the Moon, first ever robotic remote-controlled missions to other celestial body? From who did they steal it if they were first in the world to do that?

Have more respect for others. It does not contradict your patriotism.

  • hi hiker,

JPL and NASA are so good their skills to making few spacecrafts and sending to outer space than ussr russia,,,

american spacecrafts can go far farther farthest outer space to pass pluto than ussr russia,,,

ussr russia spacecrafts cannot go far like american spacecrafts,,,

american spacecrafts are better system, high technology, and wonderful color photos than ussr russia,,,

ussr russia spacecrafts are weak system, low technology, and poor color photos

  • I'm having hard time understanding your language.

I think you need to learn more about history and the present of space exploration, and technology in general.

We have the edge, which is a good thing, but Russia and other countries (esp. Japan and European nations) do not have "low technology" and "poor color photos"...

Also, USSR ceased to exist in 1991.

  • hi hiker,

what is the name of ussr russia ceased in 1991,,,

    send me link website,,,

i am explaining this point about america and russia,,,

    not about asia / europe

  • very good , we should explore together.. we unite.. One step beyond to understand the unlocking mystery in the universe,. someday we found have life exist to other stars system,. i believe we are not alone in the universe. . not now maybe in the few years,.. hi NASA people , please release the latest information about kepler mission.. tnx.. i am very xcited about webb telescope,.. will launch in 2014..

  • @BlisterHiker I think space exploration should be mankind's #1 priority.

  • @PETETHEMEAT42

There are very important things we should do as civilization, from fighting poverty to taking better care of our planet, but space exploration is definitely one of those things which should be top priority because it drives progress in many areas and inspires young people all over the world.

We need more people inspired by good things instead of going after money as primary goal in their lives.

  • @BlisterHiker Well expensive yes. But you should work separately but share the intellectual result obtained. Because if we compete with each other, we start thinking of intuitive ways to achieve those goals. More discoveries to be made.

  • @PhantasyGod

Don't worry. There are plenty of opportunities to compete, but there is a point beyond which competition does not make sense. That's the point where people should work together.

At that point, discoveries can be made only if we work together because certain very ambitious and complex ideas are simply too expensive for any single country to carry out.

  • @BlisterHiker O yeah i cannot dispute that because i believe in the same thing. But in same context i don't want to kill competitive spirit.

  • YA MAN! THE PLAN WORKED! I'm so proud of every1 there that helped even putting a peice on the rover cuz well its on mars now!

  • ussr does not exist anymore u crackhead. russia and their modern space programme is absolutely different to soviet era's one.

  • idiot

  • this gotta be the dumbest and pointless comment i ever read on youtube.

  • that was to "bestamerica"

  • hi star,

    haha yes i am

  • hi star,

haha i am a good answer and good point

  • The bottle neck of any present or future long haul space programs is the propulsion system. The limits of chemical rocket booster sets the limits to feasibility and sensibility of any ambitious, say interplanetary research project. So far there's no better alternative outside of a theory and vague experiments to the traditional rocket booster in sight. All that makes those Mars or any other planetary exploration missions pointless.

  • Even cheaper option: drop the module from the shuttle using some of the commercial missions. Aside of a definite boost to those scientists' academic portfolios, and a PR boost for NASA, the Mars mission accomplished little. Nothing that couldn't be done in our close vicinity. Even if there'd be some discoveries of significance: water, life forms etc, there'd be no even long term benefits in sight from it. Those missions are useless to the point of ridicule.

  • Lots of gifted folks did a skilled job to video and analyze a desert several million miles away, orbiting the sun. At the end a guy's saying, that all this was a contribution to improvement of our life's quality. Same effect could've been achieved with a Saturn booster making loop around the Moon, and dropping that Rover module, say into Nevada desert, using all the gadgetry like on Mars. Benefit: you'd re-use the module and gadgets or recover it if anything went down the gurgle.

  • Its nice to see JPL getting down. But all these orginizations keep big amounts of money, shit..... i would. But they are really working to land in mars, but they keep huge percentages straight to the BANK!

  • Unbelievable...I am proud of this people that the do so profesional work..

  • lol give it 100 years an umans will fiannaly walk on mars

  • For me, it's an amazing doc.

No words to describe it, -really great vid.

    thanks :)

  • did the rover landed in mexico?

  • Its amazing how we can get Real-time information from another damn planet but we can't talk to Iran....

  • Exciting informative documentary! Thank you!

  • in a documentary someone said they could have had people on mars in 1980 but the government cut costs dramatically

  • They decided to dump the money in the space shuttle program....I think we should have went to Mars, i'm sure the shuttle would have materalized no matter what...

  • awesome!!!

  • what would that thing cost?

  • i didnt know there was so much at risk, jesus come on guys you had billions riding on that much risk?

  • Not billions. Total cost to US taxpayers was about $2.00 per person. The cost of the mission was 700 million.

  • Thats BS. The people who make over $250k a year spent a lot more than $2 per person. They are only 4% and responsible for 80% of americas wealth. So maybe you paid $2 but I know I paid more and it pisses me off that nasa won't let these pictures to be public anymore

  • Even though you're wrong, lets say you're correct. What you're saying is that you are one of the people who make over 250K a year because you're in the 4% who paid the entire 700 million cost of the mission. That means that you are one of 12 million out of 330 million taxpayers paid the entire bill - which means you paid a whopping $58.00 - give or take a few dollars. James, I think it's safe to say you could afford it. PS, photos are public... just google photojournal -JBH

  • Let's put obama in office so I could pay more!!! all im saying is that I am paying the majority of projects like these and NASA smudges pictures, doesn't allow us to view all the photo's, they have a different line for astronauts when they want to talk off air. I know they know more than they lead on and Im tired of paying for shit like this and not having any rights to it. Its just bullshit. Ill check that link thx.

  • You think every facet of government should be available for you to view?

  • nah. but the things that could help society progress should not be decided by a few people in govt. I think 95% of americans are big boys and could handle the fact if there was life on mars millions of yrs ago. It may put religon in its place which could help us all ban together and stop fighting about which god created man. LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE

  • Yay, another worthless comment.

  • kewl

  • wow

  • amazing!

  • i love it when a plan comes togeather

  • amazing

  • Amazing.
