  • I would have held out for $1000. AH HA HA HA HA!!! Long live Ted Dibiase.

  • Pool Manager is worth $400. What a bargin!!

  • 'Virgil!' *snap snap* Always liked when he did that! Ted DiBiase was one of the best!

  • Funny I met Virgil last year at Wondercon2010 in SanFran California. Dude is still big and looks the same.

  • @waitsone An employee of mine met him when he didn't have to show at the arena due to lower ticket sales. Sais he was a friendly guy but is really bigger than he looks next to all of these guys who are even bigger. I think this vignette is one of the only times we hear Virgil talk. Dude's facial expressions were usually enough. Supposedly he teaches public school math.

  • Ted DiBiase is one of the greatest heels of all time. Compared to today's heels, who are too bland.

  • I look at him and I see Bobby Roode.

  • Ted is actually an extremely kind & giving man, I got a bud who tried to make in the business & although he didn't make it, he couldn't have said more nice things about Dibiase, he went out of his way to help him & teach him the ropes. Classy guy, loved the good ol days of the WWF.

  • Keep pressing 4 .. haha Virgil *snap* *snap*

  • DiBiase didn't even go in the Pool.

  • 1 person doesn't have a price.lol

  • Holy crap. I still have that red and white cooler shown in the background at 2:30

  • Public pool eh!

  • What a heel!

  • can you believe that? LMAO

  • I have a price

  • Would have been cheaper to pay Virgil to buy a Mr. Big and throw it in the pool.

  • @MrShaqzilla sorry people

  • Ted DiBiase was PERFECT for this gimmick. It was originally supposed to be Nick Bockwinkel, but there's no way Bockwinkel pulls it off like DiBiase. Just classic. Between this, woman that kissed his feet and of course, kicking the ball away from that adorable black kid on Superstars, he gain MASSIVE HEAT in '87. Should've gotten the belt at some point IMHO

  • awesome

  • Damn Virgil was pretty jacked up back then.

  • PROPS TO VIRGIL !!

    HAHAHA!!

  • Comment removed

  • I hope the kids peed in the water before they left!

  • The man you love to hate... Well done Ted!

  • Virgil was his SLAVE UNCLE TOM LMAO

  • Now days to be a heel all you have to do is kick someone in the head after the match.

  • This is and what all WWE heels should aspire to be. He didn't just play the part he became said character and in the entire course of his WWF career never once did he turn face which IMO is always a huge let down when a person does this because it shows that the creative staff are or were running out of ideas for that particular person. Sorry for long rant but Million Dollar Man = Best Heel Ever.

  • @WRK004

The problem lies 100% with Vince McMahon. The problem is that Vince doesn't let talent do stuff like this anymore and holds the talent down more than anything.

  • @MystikWizard A good point and one I wont argue with. Seems that Vince now cares what other people think. Not like back in the years past with the whole attitude era and phrases like "suck it" when people did not agree with what they were doing and even before that when he revolutionized the industry. I have been a lifelong fan until recently tuning out because of the disappointing heel characters. They were what got the people worked up in the first place and it's not there anymore for me.

  • "I pay more taxes in a month then these people make in a year" haha

  • 1 person that disliked this was kicked out of the pool LoL

  • Perfect promo for what he was all about

  • Pool guy's an idiot. You see that stack in Virgil's hand all the cards are on the table. My price would be that full stack.

  • You have a point there. If someone is holding a full stack of cash and asking you what's your price. You ask for the whole stack.

  • That pool guy is the worst actor i've ever seen

  • My price is a 1L bottle of Vodka and a bottle of Schweppes Lemonade.

  • @bazfanv2 to all u tube guys i am PRICELESS

  • Surely if he was that rich then he would have his own pool?? anyway i remember this, takes me way back. Remember when Virgil turned against him and they had a match? can't remmeber who won though, i'll have to look it up.

  • @bigsausages virgil had won and took the million dollar belt

  • @bigsausages It's not about having his own pool, it's about people having a price.

  • God Heenan Is GREAT ...

  • Ted was a freaking cutie bak then!! <3

  • The Million Dollar Moucher.Ted DiBiase is a born again Christian off camera

  • Virgil was a slave character. "Yes, Suh!" "No, Suh!" Jeez, how racist can you get? It's bizarre how much of an ego the guy has too... he's an absolute prick in real life and thinks he's the man even though he jobbed to everyone and his gimmick was "loyal slave to white rich man." Also, that kid who remarks, "I came here to swim, not to be shouted at," is pretty funny.

  • Bar none, the best Heel in wrestling history.

  • Damn right!

  • If you wanna download this mp3 click to ezmp3grab doht cohm.

  • Haha!!!

This shit does not have a price...it's priceless

  • i wouldn't wanna go in that water after all those kids peed in it. lol

  • like him or not but ted debiase was a work horse for vince.

  • @firstcowtails

dibiase made vince a real million dollar man

  • @shiroisan87 yeah he helped

  • Virgil needs to learn to close his yap

  • Wrestling superstar Virgil.

  • Classic Dibiase.

  • i hate him

  • I loved this vignette's they were some of the best intro vignette the WWF has ever done.

Does anyone know if the MDM vignettes with a Linda McMahon & a young RVD are on here?

  • Aww yes Virgil, Critical role for the nWo, he single handily got his ass beat more than anyone ever in wrestling.

  • @THECHAMPdotCom Don't forget, he held Hogan's belt on his shoulder alot. Very very critical role :P

  • Virgil looks like don cheadle on steroids

  • @cbr9542002 EPIC

  • @cbr9542002

    LOL

  • haha, virgil! i met him.. he's so nice.. but he's crazy!

  • I've got my price

  • I was one of the children who was removed rfrom that pool that day. And I admit that I was mad. As I got older Iearned. I forgive you Ted Dibiase.

  • @pbrick6301 on your profile it says that you are 47 years old,,so what the heck are you talking about being one of those kids.

  • @DutchTornado I am the kid who says "I came here to swim not to be shouted at"

& thank you for pointing out the mistake on my profile. I will have it fixed immediately.

  • "I pay more taxes in a month than these people make in a year"

    Man! Ted rulz!

    AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Virgil has some big arms

  • "I think there's a little too much chlorine in the water, don't you?" LOL

  • anyone heard the name Chris Rea?

  • I was waiting for him to get into the HOF but he was good....so good. His son is alright, but the original Million Dollar Man....YEAH!

  • "I came to swim, not to be shouted at" <---Litte kid mumbling that after Virgil berates him to get the heck out of the pool...lol!

  • I remember as a kid I hated him and all the other "bad guys" As I got older I realized they WERE the reason I watched every week. Dude the bad guys were the best!! Dibiase, Macho Man, Bobby Heenan were the Best!!!

  • RIP Gorilla and God bless the "Brain"!!!!

  • I forgot that Virgil had hair AND he talked (briefly) for a moment!

"I pay more taxes in a month than these people make in a year" CLASSIC!

  • I would not even do it for 1000

  • He is now in the WWE Hall Of Fame class of 2010.

  • Is that Ted Dibiase Jr on the far right at 2:45? Cause he looks exactly like him.

  • @GameaPlaya I was thinkin that as well, but that'd make hime a prett tall 4 year old

  • well at least he is now in this year hall of fame inductee a night b4 wrestlemania

  • he gave that guy 4 $500 bills so in total $2,000 !!!

  • @fieldguy316 $2,000 of "Vince's" Money but still Ted's my all time favorite heel.

  • i think he gave him $500

  • 2:39 is an awesome moment

  • ted dibiase was the best gimmick ever, i remember when i was a kid we would hope like hell he'd give us a hundred.

  • he was an amazing heel but his philosophy was right on...the money.

People have a price, u just gotta find it. Sadly people will do anything for money and thats one that that'll probably never change

  • when i was a kid my old man took us to a lot of wrestling events and ted dibiase was always the best. he had everybody wanting to do anything to get that cash, taught me a lot at a young age.

  • @smrand2 glad u & I learned thanks to him. I went to wrestlin events too...got my picture taken with Jimmy Hart. Thats also y Im not a hogan fan. Hogan didnt show when he was scheduled to.

  • how much money did they give that guy

  • Ted Dibiase The Million Dollar Man is the greatest heel ever, Ted Dibiase is a real legend And Everybody's Got A Price For The Million Dollar Man

  • @Terryfan My thoughts EXACTLY!!!!

  • @CaramelVelle Everybody got a price for the million dollar man

  • Million Dollar Man is a legend!

  • @apone1 He earned being in the WWE Hall Of Fame for 2010.

  • @apone1 HOF TOO

  • @apone1 WWE Hall Of Famer for 2010.

  • Awesome !!! Everybody has a price LOL. Ted : " Virgil, have you ever seen a more gorgeous specimen in all your life ? You know, there are still a lot of people out there who think that moral and pride are more important than money. Can you believe that ?" I love all these kinds of promo by Teddy LOL. Ted : " Don't be upset with the pool manager. He didn't do anything that any one of you wouldn't have done. He had a price just like each every one of you has your price." And Ted is a preacher now.

  • I loved Ted's character. He was a jack ass but cool jack ass. Wonder how they pulled this off with it bein fixed.

  • 3:20 Gorilla said "man piece"... that was cool

  • why would MDM need to us a public pool?

  • @EncinoBoy lmao. i know right!

  • Maybe he was in a rare town where he didn't have a vacation home.

  • Nobody to this day has a better more wicked laugh than TD..i love it!

  • I dunno, Larry Sweeney's cackle could give it a good run for it's money

  • That is his trademark just 3-4 months after he debuted in the WWE.

  • haha great peice. Heenan and Monsoon were great, too.

  • To those kids he didn't seem to them like "The Million Dollar Man", he was more like "The Million Dollar Jerk." Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!

  • genius

  • Virgil's biceps are HUGE! Brother Devon has biceps like that now.

    Westside of Milwaukee baby!

  • he was a big fucker right? i always wondered when he wud turn on Dibiase lol it FINALLY happened one day..lol

  • yeah he was, but he ended up being a real wimp - whatta letdown!

  • Difference is virgil was all muscle. Brother Devon is muscle covered in flab.

  • Ted Dibiase was always my favorite heel back in the day, he never cut aboring promo and i used to root for him when he wrestled, A true classic entertainer

  • He was one the greatest heels in Mid South Wrestling in Bill Watts' region.

  • he' gave his life to Christ

he's a friggin pastor now lol

    hahah

  • A classic vignette. I really miss this era of wrestling. The Million Dollar Man was a fantastic performer.

  • Wow, that was probably one of the few times Virgil actually talked when he was Ted's bodyguard.

  • What is the moral of the story....

back in the 80's, $400 bucks can buy you some nice privacy at any public pool.

With inflation today, a cool $1000 will get you the same results... please some try it and let us know what happens!! :>)

  • At least $1000, maybe double that

  • I Love Dibiase He is so Evil I would love to be the next virgil just as long as im getting paid and shot at the world heavy weight championship!

  • Duh, but you don't have mention The N word next time.

  • public pool huh? we'll see how public it is

  • Dibiase was the motherfucking man & had the best segments

  • Wouldn't Ted Dibiase have his own pool?

  • Ted was making a point, that everyone has a price. Of course the million dollar has his own pool. lol

  • Exactly what i though

  • "I pay more taxes in a month than these people make money in a year"

    Classic

  • "I came here to swim, not to get shouted at!"

  • "yeah-uh"

  • I was surprised when I heard Virgil speak for the first time after the '91 Rumble...I always thought he would have this deep booming voice...instead of it being high and smooth, lol.

  • Virgil rarely spoke until his face turn, so this clip is showing a true rarity.

  • I'm glad they threw all those brats out of the pool

  • Papa "Priceless" was the man when he popped up in the Federation, he was almost immediately thrown in with Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Andre the Giant, and Heenan. Because of Hulk, and Savage's push as champ, Ted never got a chance with the top belt, they created the Million Dollar Belt instead of giving Ted the I-C belt. Because of Honky, then soon after came the Ultimate Warrior and Rick Rude, bad timing for Ted but his heat was real. Old school rulebreakers never disappoint (like Randy Orton).

  • good except for randy orton part tell that to batista almost got jis arm torn out of socet yesterday

  • Not sure but Batista gets injured pretty often (for real), more than any other big name wrestler right now. If he's not careful Mr. Mcmahon may release him like he did Kurt Angle a few years back if Mr. Mcmahon isn't confident that Batista can stay healthy.

  • One of my favorite clips ever.

    OUT OF THE POOL!!!!!

Thanks a "million" for posting this.

  • That was hilarious with Monsoon taking Heenan's $5 to be quiet!

  • lol

  • HAhaha, holy shit! The million dollar man sure got his way with those brats!

  • it was be good see Ted Dibiase vs his son ted dibiase at wrestlemania 25

  • LOL, OMG.

  • This is great!! I have never seen the discussion from this before. Very cool! I always look for old videos of the original Ted Dibiase. I have seen most of them already. I think Ted and Virgil should have had their own TV show. I liked that Bobby Heenan made fun of people who work for a living.
