We should also remember Patrick Vic, a French member, who jumped from the 8th floor of an apartment in Lyons; Eric Rubio from France who starved to death in Denmark while paying back his Sea Org 'debt' to the CoS; Martine Boublil, a French ex-Scientologist, imprisoned (but rescued) in 2008; Konrad Aigner, a German member, who died a puzzling death in 1997. And no doubt many others.
No; the German was Konrad Aigner, a simple farmer's son who gave all his money to the cult, mortgaged his family's farm, left his brothers and sisters with nothing, and (still in the CoS) died in August 1997 of mysterious multiple organ failure (heart, lungs and stomach) that has never been explained. A year earlier he told his mother he wanted to get out, said he had discovered something 'terrible'. He believed the Bridge meant salvation but for him it meant death.
So write to your local MP or police or local council or whatever and tell them Scientology is a dangerous scam, illegal in many countries, against human rights in all of them. The thing that amazes me about Scientology is how they continue their campaign of feigned ignorance to their own teachings, policies, and practices. There must be someone extremely well paid and level headed within the organization, who knows if they own up to all their illogical nonsense, people will shun them faster than the branch dividian compound in Waco Tx. burned to the ground.
