What a fantastic site. Toronto Ontario set the Orginal First Guiness World Record in 2006 with just 60 people...This is awesome and in Oct 2009 there will e world wide event. called Thrill The World.
Awesome work, folks! I graduated in '00, but would have flown back in for this in a heartbeat. What a marvelous way to bring attention to DM- congratulations!
Cool! I'm an NU alum myself, never got involved in DM but wish I had after seeing things like this--did you guys make the Guiness? Funny I never heard about this!
because I don't have it. Several news stations filmed it, but no one showed it in its entirety on TV...like only 10 seconds or so with a brief story about it. This is the only full length video that I'm aware of :-/
not ordinarily. This was done as a publicity stunt for DM (Dance Marathon). DM is an annual event though, that almost everyone participates in in some way, either by dancing in it, or joining a committee to help plan it. It's huge. If you want more info send me a message :)
About half of us learned it the night before (the guy in the white t-shirt in front is the one who transcribed it from the music video and taught it to us), and then the rest learned it that day. The people in the front were the people who learned it the night before. haha
lol mark is that you commenting on this? or mark's friend? or are genuinely just a fan of the guy in the front? haha. but yeah, mark did an amazing job with this.

Wow, that's really supremely awesome. I would've loved to do something like that.
How much practice time did you put into this? Cause everyone on the front danced pretty darn well. ^^

Very good but you should have used the version off the video rather than the version off the album (just a little criticism).
