I don't see the point in fearing death, never have. I'm a Christian myself, I don't care who you are, your going to die, no matter what denomination you proclaim yourself. Shit, my best friends Hindu lol, He's gonna die. Were all going to, I just don't see a point in fearing it. Its like fearing breathing, your going to do it, (you wont die every second lol, but you get the idea) It really is pointless to fear death. Embrace it, its your only escape from this hell-hole.

What I was saying, simply, is the reason they fight to stay alive is the same as the reason they proclaim a belief in the afterlife. Whether or not there is an afterlife, no one needs my permission to do or think anything. You should reflect on why you felt the need to reply to this at all. If it threatens you, maybe you need to explore those feelings

It is not a belief in the afterlife that makes life precious to people or other creatures, it is life itself. To reiterate: Earth is what we have. If oblivion follows life, making life as good as possible is the best solution. Has that sufficiently answered your rhetorical question?

Sorry, being a theist, I musta got, "Confused". Yeah I get it now. Christians shouldn’t be allowed to fear death because they believe in eternal life but atheists who don‘t even believe in life after death may fear “Be concerned about“ death. HOWEVER, sun, do not mistake our concern for fear. Its a double standard and makes the point of the (Original) video moot. Atheists are concerned about global warming and other earthly issues because the earth is what we do have - we don't rely on heaven (or Narnia) to rescue us and don't believe that our mistakes are part of a grand plan. Also, the concept of justice here is totally screwed. If an innocent is executed for murder, and latter we discover the real murderer, would we forgive him because someone already died for his crimes?
