  • I love how raw this is and how they are actually talented. This sounds amazing raw. I'd love to see them live. The singer is absolutely amazing :D

  • The singer is too sexy X)

  • How can anyone not like this?

  • yesssss

  • Beautiful. Or audible. Whatever the term is,

  • I love you!!

    -Eric Chicago

  • EPs, Albums, Gig Tickets, T Shirts...

just had to buy it all

    they're the loveliest guys too

chatted with them after a manchester gig and they were saying stuff like "ahh cool... so what're u gonna do after uni?"

made me realise they're just kids like me, my age but with loads more talent

counting down until album number 2

  • i love how they have this unique sound and its so wonderful.

  • wow.. cool they were allready in my country.. .. but in my country are peoples which playing Music on the street not very respected... often they didnt get heared at all.

Maybe becuase almost all peoples which playing music on streets are also begging for money.

Me personally thinks street-musicans are awesome.

But the most peoples which u can seeing in the video running along, even dont thinking about that these 3 musicans there from iceland and that they dont begging for money ...

  • Been playing music for a long time and it had become stagnant, but seeing Mica and the Shapes has re-kindled it.I appreciate the innovation and the sound.Keep going you guys,Thanks very much.

  • ... and Mica was like 'ow ow!'

  • UAHGHHHHHHHHHHHH THE GRUDGE.

  • a fuckin love you.

  • Very sexy.

  • fuckin awesome x

  • I totally appreciate some of their songs. Maybe I need to hear this in the midst of a whole album to fully appreciate it.

I totally like shapes. That's what they're all about. Discovering shapes.

  • better than the album version? me thinks so.

  • This is wickedly cool - I think people forget that guitar is a wildly flexible instrument - I think the way Mica uses guitar as something between a harmonic and percussive instrument, and The Shapes players are in an incredibly sympathetic back-and-forth of syncopation. Lighten up, it's great to hear people jamming with home-made/found-object instruments and shelving all that self-absorbed drivelly 'me and my geetar' crap. :-)

  • hahah! all the reviewers puzzled over experimentalism! for music to be adventurous it doesnt have to be heavy or even formally resolved!!! remember the sitiuationists, fluxus, john cage??

well done micachu, keep having fun.

  • @filtig jandek 1978

  • que buena esta verga,,,se pasan de buenos ºLº;...

  • I just wonder what rehearsal is like. "Okay. How about this ridiculous sound here?"

  • Yeah, you know, you either get it or you don't. Why do you think these sounds are ridiculous? All sounds are musical.

  • @adjameson I love it and I don't consider it ridiculous, but most people would take it as so. I wonder what they looked for when finding a label.

  • Ah! My mistake, apologies. As for M&TS, I hope they had no trouble finding a label, because they're awesome! Cheers, A D.

  • Indeed!

  • I have a fangirl crush on Mica :)

  • as are you!

  • lol perfect response

  • Try listenig to Sonic Youth. This is called experimental music:)

  • I especially like the percussion <3

  • such talented people, love their music!

  • Lol that fucking blew.
