hi brad, i've obviously uploaded a bunch of stuff from earlier albums. i miss being able to reproduce the studio quality processed sound. when i do videos at home i hardly ever have even used a mic, once so far. find i try to sing louder than i want to. thanks for listening., chuck
hello Paddy, thanks for listening. you know, i happened onto your own channel because i noticed your were in "favorites" of Gregmovolt1, who is a very sincere songwriter, age 11. nice to have found you. will be checking out your channel more, later. chuck.
Greg's a very talented young man and I think it's great that he's writing his own material at such an early age. He gets lots of support from his dad, davemorag1, who is a fine guitarist and singer-songwriter too. It's well worth checking out his channel if you haven't already done so.
amazing stuff !! there well done, i love the story about the dog!! i love the to get into the whole mediation thing but i just find it to hard to shut off my mind , well done anyway 5 stars *****
hi albaherendnow, the zen way is to only think this, "what is the sound of one hand clapping?" over and over. because it is so hard, to have no thoughts, it is just as good to only have one thought that has no meaning. every time you find yourself with a thought, do not be affected by it, simply return to "one hand clapping". do not try to solve that Koen, simply use it a s mantra substitute for having no thoughts. really pleased to hear from you and thanks for subscribing! chuck.
yes, a black lab. usually just called her May. one morning i went onto the porch with a coffee. a heavy fog began to lift, and as it cleared I was seeing this dog. but i was seeing here with my eyes, and with my "chita" as yogi call it, or "mind stuff", at the same time. it was a dynamic experience. i asked her in. she stayed a week then left. 10 days later i was six miles away building our house. after meditation i started down the drive. there she was. into the truck . home forever.
"The moon hung around and the grass took on dew" - for some reason, put me right there! Nice to see a "love song", Chuck! This is a good one and definitely universal!
A virgin clip to leave a stamp on! Cool. Now what can I say...Lovemaking is like songwriting, so "continue the craft" and you shall find "the beat goes on." :-)
Actually the openness you reveal in your songs says far more than what mere words could convey to someone probably so it says something about who you are I reckon. It's not exactly confessional songwriting as you are a craftsman but something pretty close to it.
hi curtis, yes, most of my songs are based on personal experiences. however, i think that nearly all of the themes are, if not universal, they are experiences shared by many of us within many different cultures. yes, the beat goes, but in a subtle wave of sharing, so many of us dance to the same beat.......for different specific reasons. thanks for listening, chuck.
Hmmm, 2001....I enjoy this
