@ilistis Wehrmacht soldiers were actually forbidden from having any political affiliations, and the atrocities were left for the Einsatzgruppen/Waffen-SS soldiers. By no means was the Wehrmacht free from committing any war crimes during WW2 (no army was, really) but it's strange to act like career soldiers like this older sergeant POW they murder in this scene would have been were "Nazis". Was some guy who'd been a soldier since World War 1 a "Nazi"? Seems strange to think that way.

Note: The German Officer was Wehrmacht. Wehrmacht personnel were LEGALLY BANNED FROM BEING A MEMBER OF ANY POLITICAL PARTY. Including the NAZI PARTY. So literally, he wasn't a nazi. No Wehrmacht (regular army) was.
