Thanks man. Tomorrow I am doing Plyometric workout consisting depth jumps rim jumps, ankle jumps, squat jumps with medicine ball, and box jumps. Short but effective I think. Was your workout similar to this? I do weights another day btw and plyos twice a week
hey man is something wrong with my form or something. I can easily grab rim with one hang but can hang. I try with with two hands and its hard to when it comes to RV. I can touch the rime with two hands standing, however
@stevendunks, at practice next time try doing this, stay tall when running up, keep your chest pointed upwards towards the basket - as i saw in this video your chest was a bit forward, and your last two steps should be the quickest - no deceleration only ACCELERATION.
But yeah for anyone who needs advice or motivation for dunking / increasing vertical check out my channel! I'm no athletic trainer or anything but I've learned a lot by doing.
@StevenDunks You're still doing the jump manual right? 6 more weeks or so? Well after you finish that if you haven't gained what you needed to dunk only then will any advice I have be valid.
For the small ball, half an inch in vertical would help you dunk it haha you're extremely close with that. For an actual basketball, I'd say within an inch or two you could dunk but it'd be inconsistent like how I first started. When you can run and jump and almost every time get your entire hand at least over the rim you will be able to dunk 80 - 90 percent of the time (unless you or your legs are tired). But you're close to your goals, whatever you do, don't stop yet. You're very close.
@GG3DTJumpManual i have but not on this rim, tried to and kept having terrible throws and i wanted to use my good jumps for 2 hand grab and small ball dunks

Nice gains especially the two handed grab, help getting me somewhat motivated to restart my quest to dunk (without an alley-oop).
