It is lagging because advanced openGL is off. Turn it off for less lag. Trust me.

Actually it does not go down unless you commit an action. Some drop it faster then others like sprinting drops it faster then walking.
There was a time I stood still an entire minecraft day (Had to go afk and did not turn the game off or pause it.)
I came back to find my bar has not moved at all, but then continued to deplete like normal as I played the game again.

f6-f7 do not change time in pre-release 2, it was a debug feature accidentally left in pre-1
you can use any sword to chop spider webs quick, not just iron.
food does NOT go down "over time" only when walking, running, jumping.
and a lot more. I don't feel like re-watching.
