I friggen hate what they did too Starfire. I didn't have a problem with getting Jason Todd his own comic, (DC seems to have a hard on for him) But 2 things keep me from enjoying
1: Lian isn't here which is the entire reason I was interested in the relaunch.
2: Starfire's character and personality is, ironically, fuck up the ass and she's being shown like a piece of meat in almost every page she;s in.
Regarding the Star Trek comic. I didn't like it. If IDW and Hollywood is going to rehash the same old stories to us then I'm not playing that game. i'm not going to shell out $4 for a comic book when 75% plus of it, is a story I've seen seen for the past 45 years. and Delta Vega ? WTF. such bad writing on the Orci / Kurtman team. putting that planet right next to Vulcan. Again, WTF ?
@fmscribs Fair enough. I might be right there with you after #2, but it does seem to be heading in a direction where the next part shouldn't be 75% of what we've seen before. I completely agree with you about randomly moving planets around in the new movie (and some other lazy changes too). If I'm disappointed with 2, I'll probably quit, but I did appreciate that it didn't seem to be trying to dumb the story down, which I thought it might do.
Hey CL I just watched the red hood for the first time, and I was surprised you havnt resonate it yet idk if it's becuase it's fairly recent, but I'm sure you've seen it. I loved the films mature yet still true to comics style. I usually don't like robin, he can often come off as cheesy. That didn't bug me here.
I was worried about Red Hood but thankfully I really enjoyed it. Also Blue Beetle was good and re-introduces the character well, the only gripe I have with it is Tony Bedard using way to many spanish words, it beat us over the head with the fact that Jaime's family is spanish. Anyway good week for me.
@Geekvolution I havent read a lot of stuff with Tim in it actually. I love him in R.I.P though and in Batman and Son. Most of what I know about him is from the New Batman Adventures, and I love him in that. And yeah he is extrememly clever, he definetly deserved his own monthly. :)
What do you think of Damien being Robin in the re-launch Batman and Robin monthly?

DCU presents was surprisingly good as well, seems like its going to be a deep and rich story with Deadman.

Hey Cap.
Who's your favorite Robin?
Mine's Dick becuase I love his background in the circus and it seems like he doesnt want to become the dark, scowling, lonely man Bruce has.
Zazubaar 5 months ago
@Zazubaar I'm going with Tim Drake. He seems somewhere between Bruce and Dick in the darkness arena and he's *so* clever in how he problem solves.
