great inspirational video! loved it! but...i don't see why we have to bring god into it. i saw the coach as representing passion, inspiration, and drive. and the coach was a human like the kid and that's all we need. we just need passion, inspiration and drive given by another extraodinary human being. why do we need to bring in the supernatural into it? Would your parents not expect you to love them? This is the same way God is. He hates evil, just like most of us do, and He's a Father to us who desires us to love Him. The blindfold is symbolism bro. It's easy to live out life by everything you see in front of you: problems, bad relationships, no money in the bank/bills piling in. God asks us to "walk by FAITH, NOT by SIGHT" 2 Corinthians 5:7 (check it out). Sometime we need to press past what's going on in our lives and overcome by listening to God's voice, reading his Word (the Bible), and allowing Him to guide us. It's not easy, but trusting God is the only thing we can do to live this life. Proverbs 3:5-6

Yes, there is alot of garbage out there and God says in His word to "put no veil thing before your eyes", however, i have seen some movies that God has used to speak to my heart. A good movie by Christian Film makers i would recommend is: "One night with the King" by Tommy Tinney. Look him up ,he's got a great vision for where the media industry is heading . Fireproof was a great movie.

Tonight, I did not have such a wonderful time at work. I am a student and I have a lot of things that are on my shoulders right now. I told God that I really felt like I just needed some encouragement. I am usually the one that is encouraging everyone else. On the way home I stopped and visited with a lady who had lung surgery. Seeing the video, I heard God clearly!
He said, "I weigh 160". The coach had said 140 which means that the load was even more and that the journey across the field was even harder than what he thought. Playing the part of coach, encouraging people to go beyond (sometimes WAY beyond) what they thought they could do is my dream.
This is my favorite video and every time I see it my heart is over joyed and my eyes fill with tears. What would the world be like if every Christian lived everyday with a DON'T quit, WON'T quit, and CAN'T quit attitude???
About 3wks ago, my mother passed away. I thought that the world was gonna end. My church played this video in my youth group and let me tell u I was encouraged. I felt like I was the 1 doing the death crawl and God was talking 2me...telling me that I had to go on no matter how much it hurt...no matter how much it burns. THank you so much...please keep me in your prayers...
my coach asked me to do this during practice once and its hard. I finished all one hundred yards but i wouldn't recommend trying this unless you can bench a minimum of 340 lbs.

My dad never cries and when I asked him why he was crying, he told me that the person doing the death crawl was him.
