Argh, I'm kind of annoyed. Incubus are my favourite band but I'd never seen this vid until I checked out your 305 video. This should have won by far. The videos in the top five weren't even almost this quality, and the one that won had NO build up what-so-ever. They picked it cause he used their art.

I also liked the video where the boy and the girl are arguing, and then hugging etcetera - because they were a pretty couple. That's why they picked out that video, I guess, although this story fits the song better and the girl and the boy are pretty as well, but not making out.

This was freakin amazing. Youve got 3d tracking, excellent compositing, and I loved the color correction/grading you did on the band footage. The entire video is an 10 out of 10 from a technical standpoint. Great angles, composition, etc. The only explanation I have for why this isn't in the top 5 is storyline/theme development. In Incubus' eyes, it might not have had as much "substance", if you will, as some of the others. But amazing job anyways.

I've seen about 3/4 of these so far & this is the first time I thought "This could win it"

Pros: Fantastic integration of video clips so that the entire thing (including band footage) appears seamless. Nice use of contrasting colors. Delicate, but emotionally impactful story being told through imagery.

Cons: Yes, only 1. It's a bit dismal for a song that is ultimately about love. But, then again, aren't we tired of hearts and roses anyway.

Um, well to answer your question, we had 3 people working around the clock trying to get this done. We used our friends and shot at a community college. And for us it's not about the laptop, its about exposure and making a cool video. Thanks for watching.
