  • people of altai mountain and siberians wrestle almost always. Anything saying that it came out china and japan is irrelevant because wrestling existed everywhere independent of each other. Question is who are the wrestling nations

  • Guys who are good in shuai chiao not that good in competition don't I repeat do not crash on top of guys after throws!

  • And how is this the king of shuai chiao? I seen many shuai chiao comps in china and hk and guys who are good have balance they crash on top of a person after throws!judo does that because you go into groundwork after throws pins and submissions

  • I'm a kung fu and judo practitioner.I competed in many chinese ma competitions in hk I always watch the shuai chiao after I do my sanda fights.shuai chiao is good but I think judo has way more rapid foot work also shuai chiao don't have sacrifice throws in the sport which is a downfall

  • JUDO>SHUAI JIAO

  • @6ookstazz ROFL Judo fanboy in the house I guess !! 6ookstazz<uninformed

  • The fact that ppl voted the judo origins comment to the highest rated implise that ppl dont do the reaserch and is pretty fuking embarassing when all their going by is anecdotal evidence ie. ones own perception experience and interpretation of the movements which doesnt constitute for evidence ever.

  • the defenses are so natural, so intelligent, so simple.. that.. i didnt think of them

  • The blue fighter's name is Wang hai Ping. In 2004 contest of shuia jiao i was luky man because my first oponent was this men. He makes easy wat its dificult and natural the other things.

  • it is a game. any sparring is a game, a sport if you want. So is mma. see alot of huggin in mma too.... don't even see why he has to be 7 feet? completely random.

theres not much diff. between judo and shuai jiao. i don't thinks theres much general difference except how tournaments are run. depends on more on whose teaching you imho.

  • @yungthugjase How often is someone going fight a 7 foot tall pro MMA fighter who fights n trains for a living you idiot. And also what would it prove? That most normal people cant beat Pro-fighters?

You wanna see a game of Hugging? check out Gracie jiujitsu or freestyle wreslting...they routinely "hug" people into submission even 7 foot mma fighters..

  • @yungthugjase lol oh the ignorance of youth is so entertaining.

  • Looks very similar to Judo

  • You know I have been looking at playing judo to get more practice time for Shuai Jiao. I have been looking at what the differnce is between the two and i think I have it. Judo uses more strength to start a throw, They lift to get underneath, while Shuai Jiao tilt, off balance by going with the opponents motion to use less energy

  • @4MantisTube To be honest, it's all the same. In the end it comes down to the individual practitioner how "soft" or "hard" they do things.

  • @4MantisTube judo is the reform of jujitsu, its alot of grappling, it seems to me tht shuai jiao needs a reform as well and add greco roman aspects of it like the japanese did making a complete. shuai jiao does alot of arm wrist throws and foot kicks, i am afraid tht when you have bigger guys shuai jiao loses out on SOME of the things judo focuses on even tho SJ is the forfather of judo, judo came out of samurai close combat and grappling and ground work, shuai jiao has not simple ground at all

  • @oasisspirit Actually I have done Greco-Roman the two are at cross purposes. With GR, Freestyle and schoolboy all require you to land with the person being taken down. SJ requires that you "throw" someone without landing with them. And as far as side differences I have out weighted everyone in my training by at least 50 pounds and 8". It really hasn't made a difference.

  • And as far as judo is concerned I have found that throws may have the same basic movement but they are worlds apart. Hip throws are really not the same. From what I have learned they use a lot of strength and alway throw hard sometimes landing together. For SJ it is more about balance and leverage. A hip throw can be done with little energy (or with a lot of force) but never landing with them.

  • @4MantisTube i agree with u 100%

  • @4MantisTube

    Judo -> Break balance

doesnt really matter how you do it.. pull, follow thru, lift, tilt.

  • similar but very old art.

    is the mongol marcial art

  • @HIRE2HACK this is where Judo comes from. Thus the similarity

  • @bowser8375 no... judo come from jujitsu similarity to modern ninjutsu adaptations(dipping ducking striking pressure points intercetping) shuai jio has 5 versions many of them associaated with specific ethnic groups or dynasties. bejing style which is this one a manchurian adaptation of the nomadic style found through out turkic mongolian and siberian and korean cultures. bao ding which is native chinese style also known as shaolin aka fast wrestling

  • @bowser8375 theres the Tianjin Style which is a mix of manchu and ming dynasty style. Shanxi Style which is song dynasty style. and there is mongolian and xinjian styles the the latter is turkic

  • @bowser8375 this is not where judo comes from

  • @6ookstazz Um yes it is. I suggest you do some reading and learn about Chinese History of Shuai Jiao , China Na etc.......... You will see that it was the grandfather of Judo and Jujitsu LOL Judo was taught to Japanese by a few monks that moved to Japan to spread the teachings of Buddism.

  • @bowser8375 it doesnt matter if this is where judo comes from the most important part of fighting was invented by judo and jujitsu practitioners judo-jujitsu fighter were the first in the world to understand fighting has a standing-long stage, close-clinch/throwing stage and a ground/grappling phase

so dont start talking shit about judo they've done more for martial arts than anyone one martial art

  • @6ookstazz Im not talking shit about Judo. HAHA read my reply again. I am simply stating the origins of Judo and Jiu-Jitsu come from China.

  • Respond to this video...Oh not to mention, look up Greco Roman Wrestling, look up Jiao Di(Even more ancient than Shuai Jiao. These are wrestling arts that have been around for thousands of years but Judo is the first to understand those 3 concepts you mentioned ? You are really coming off like a Judo fanboy. Just because YOU study that style doesn't make it the best lol.

  • @bowser8375 i understand u like china or REALLY like chinese ppl but dont talk shit about judo

  • @6ookstazz I am not talknig shit about Judo. Read my reply. I am not attacking Judo at all. I am simply stating historical fact.

  • @bowser8375 this is not where judo comes from every form of grappling has hip throws gi or t shirt or just skin leverage is demonstrated in the same ways

  • great
