  • What brand of bubble lamp is that? What is it called?

  • Its hilarious how people say so-and-so can sample like this when they fail to realize this is one TINY feature in one of the most amazingly well built synths in the world.

  • you can do the same thing with native instrument's finger

  • i have this thing called a sampler. it was way cheaper and odly it does the same shit.

  • @pudwhap

Perhaps, but a sampler does not create synthesis like an access virus. This is just an added bonus. :P

  • kaoss pad 3 can do it.

  • Its Like your your A True DJ bro lol

  • Chock full of Glitchy goodness.

    X

  • where can I get this water thing in the background? what is the name of this thing? :)

  • wow nice job! very innovative! this is true talent, to use instruments in a way that no one else has ever done. I guess people just cant understand that... I was going to buy the Virus KC but after seeing this I decided to go with the Virus TI.

  • @szs88 Go for either the Ti or the Ti2 - They are so much more useful when you can use it in DAW. In programs like cubase and logic. The older ones can't do that at all.

  • @darkein

all of the older virus's can be used in a daw. You need a midi interface to use them but those are cheap. You would just send midi from the DAW out through a midi port into the virus. Then run the virus back into your audio interface. Very simple.

  • @SSuperSX4

I know you can hook them up via midi. The benefit of the newer virus keyboards is that you can use it as a VST. You can control sounds, change patches, make new sounds with a full monitor vs that little virus screen. All in all, much better than standard midi control.

  • @darkein

i guess it depends on what you like. I like to use knobs to do that sort of stuff and like to use the DAW just for some effects and midi.

But there is a VST out that has all of the Virus A/B/C controls mapped out and works just like the TI VST

  • Reverb much?

  • u ruined it totally...u have this nice loop, and just turns it into crap..

  • are u using a dynamic mic?

  • the loop sounds really cool...u made that on the fantom or the virus?

  • @kjempegeir

The loop was created by the fantom.

  • Do you have reverb on your voice? LOL!

  • This demo demonstrates how easy it is to make something look cool while it sounds like crap. Another era of boring music is coming our way, I'm sticking with pre-90's music !

  • @Keybern

Haha, I do agree with you to a certain extent. Cough* autotune*

  • It's like an insane gate effect

  • Awesome

  • CAN You create more videos with VIRUS? :P

  • Whats that cool water thingie called :)

  • danm thatz pretty tight

  • omg.... how much it costs?

  • alot, around 2500 euro

  • about 2 grand

  • StraitFly!

    LEGITshit!

  • Beautiful BRAVO!!

  • that's what I call an update!

    nice demo too.

  • trance, lol ;)

  • that thing is a kill machine!

  • lower the wet somewhat low. then its perfect.

  • thats nice but you need more practice

  • Hahaha...yea.... sheet is doap. Dig.

  • nice beat mate! and nice timing and Fx

  • beautiful paint :)

  • the whole sound of this sounds really pro the talking everything what vocal chain are you using here

  • what a great souund!!!..i wish get one like that someday : )!!!..Ziv Vainer (iron madness) told me that he made songs with this and Cuabse Sx3=O..

  • why would u put reverb on your voice?

  • Why not?

  • True theres no reason why u shouldnt, but it just throws u off :P theres nothing wrong with it.

  • Well to be honest, I had accidentally left it one, and didn't realize it til everything was finished.

  • Ahh yea no doubt, no use in redoing the whole video :D

  • What's coming out of the Fantom is good but the 'Virus' is exactly that--just making the fantom 'sick' sounding..

  • That is one way of putting it =]

  • This is awesome. :]

  • yo were you get them sick nice boreds from i wanna grab some up hommie

  • I dont think I could ever get sick of my keyboards. Sorry =/

  • You can buy these online, or at guitar center. I bought mine from a Washington DC store called Chuck Levins. The going rate for a 61 note Virus Ti is about $2,865.00 ----- They gave it to me for about 2,000.

Just bargin with whoever you might buy anything from - they can normally lower it significantly.

  • I need to get the virus ti

  • It's fun but very expensive.

  • yeah I know, I need to start saving up money..lol.

  • meeeen you have the greatest synthesizer in the world over there O:

  • hey man.. I have the ti Polar and I saw that new features on my keyboard. however I def dont know how to make it work as u do.... can u help me? like what do I plug? i have another keyboard but I don't directly record on it. I use logic pro. IM me if u can be of any help please.. thx

  • I don't know if you figured it out yet or not - but it is in the edit button next to the screen and enable it.- you have to input whatever source you want into it via the rear inputs to the virus.

Sorry for the late reply - hope it helps.

  • thx... let me try.... I'll get back at U if i don't make it. thx

  • Hot

  • I never knew keyboards are able to do such things until i've seen this video...

  • great video showing atomizer. and effects.. Thanks

  • Thank you. I've been looking for a demo like this... And I'm surprised that it's taken this long to find your video. The video was well-recorded (the shaky camera definitely wasn't an issue), the audio quality was great for YouTube, and your commentary wasn't annoying at all. Kudos.

  • Thank you!

Sorry for the delay on answering - life is so busy now a days for me. lol

  • Stupid No edit button?

Anyways, i forgot to mention that the Piano Add you did in the preformance Reminds me of the game "Zombie Panic: Source"

  • Give meh that Loop! XD

  • Haha, I made it up on the spot, I don't have it anymore lol.

  • the atomizer is a great feature fer sure.

  • hello friend y wabt to congratulation for your work its exelent y want play how you and have a virus ti in argentina its very very expencive!! good bye and very look and continuos up load videos exelent sorry for my english terrible!!

  • No problem about the English. Thanks for listening to my music. I hope to release more music as soon as I find time.

    Darkein

  • Access always working for improve better updates.

    Nice demo dude.

  • i meant like, the total integration part....with pro tools or anything. cna you send audio TO the unit through USB and then atomize it and then back to DAW?

  • I haven't experimented with that. To my knowledge, you can't send it through usb to the virus then back. I could be mistaken, but I could not get it to work like that. The only way I can is through the inputs on the virus.

    That would be nice though!

    Darkein

  • how about running audio out of the computer's

own audio jack, into the virus/atomizer, then

back via usb? probably a dumb question, but

    would it work?

  • Hmm, It could work, but you do risk making a feedback loop = terrible for audio equipment.

  • haha the reverb on the mic makes it seem like you're doing some kind of weird live motivational speach. the atomizer is sick...cant wait to get it with the TI snow. have you used the TI much?

  • I have used it ever since I bought it. It is well worth the money.

  • nigger

  • virus ti desktop have too atomizer?

  • ofcourse but i do not fint as it work , i ma need manual

  • Interesting! Thanks for the video...

  • What reverb did you use on the mic?? :>

  • I used my keyboard- the Fantom s-88

  • hey there! thanks for the vid. I cant decide between a waldorf blofeld and the access virus TI snow. Given the 600+ bucks difference, is the atomizer function really worth the extra money? i mean, i already own a kaoss pad 3 and it seems like i could replicate almost all of this with the kp3's looping functions... Or am i missing something?

  • Id have to say that the virus is the most versatile synth out there. I highly recommend it over the other synths. and yes, its worth the extra money. The atomizer feature is not the reason the keyboard is great. Its the sounds it produces that sets it apart from the others.

Also access is constantly updating the software running on it adding huge features like the atomizer even though you already gave them your money for the keyboard. You can also use it as a vst which is like no other keyboard

  • wow thats like amazing, ya just 1 question how much did the keyboard cost and the Atomizer??:]

  • Why do you get all the cool toys?

  • They may be cool, but they sure are not cheap. lol

  • That left me with an opend mouth. That was great, Darkein! Awesome job.

  • Thanks, I hope it was a good enough explanation. I just thought this feature was too cool to not share.

  • You have it rigt!
