First of all the original is a surf rock song 'Misirlou' by Dick Dale (1963). BEP remixed that song which they do all the time...and movie Pulp fiction used that tune too...Credit should go to Dick Dale an awesome guitarist...By the way if one thinks this is not a copy of Dick Dale's Misirlou then they are totally ignorant.. here is the link to the original watch?v=ZIU0RMV_II8
*****this song is become such a hit and tell me my daughter starts dancing automatically when she listen to the song.......even my colleagues in dubai love this song and it is played in most of the pubs her and ever house party...what more can i say....I dont this song is copied from any album.....they have even opened a restuant in the name of the song......
Don't forget they stold the guitar riff from Dick Dale. What do you expect from a talentless label made band. At least the peas had their dignity before poor little rich girl with a dope habit Fergie came along. Oh well their rich as hell now so more power to 'em.
no one should really care about copying from another music melody if it makes the old music much more interesting. nobody can own music, it comes and then goes, it is impossible to own it. if people r enjoying it then why shouldn't it be copied? music is meant for fun, not for hate, religion bullshit, money or business rights bull shit, to name a few. GROW UP FOOLS, STOP MAKING A BIG DEAL AND START ENJOYING LIFE. music can be a first step.
Vijay Antony's " Nakka Mukka' tune has become so popular not only in Tamil Nadu, but all over India, and my relatives say that this song is relayed in clubs in USA,Canada, and even Middle eastern countries. Some people feel J E L O U S.
So once a song is popular the plagiarism fades and we should forget, right? The 'crap' I've posted only informs people of the similarity between the music so you can make up our own minds.
I don't even need to comment on the jealous part, it sounds ridiculous on its own.

Is thozhiya copied as well, does anyone know?
doodles1979 3 years ago
Actually they only used the tune, they didn't translate the whole song into Tamil. I Like both of them :)
In Unfaithful it's about her cheating
In Unakkenne naan it's about how their made for each other or something along the lines of that.
Also who cares if they copied the tune as long the both songs are good, and they did get permission to use the tune.
