Howard doesn't even know who he is. The issue was Yoshiki supposedly getting a whole channel. Howard just filed a lawsuit against Sirius because apparently they're not paying him enough. As for the rest, it's just ignorant ramblings. Howard is popular and rich, but then again so are Jerry Springer, Paris Hilton, and the Jersey Shore cast. This country loves trash. Maybe Yoshiki should feel complimented that he isn't more known here.

Howard doesn't even know who he is. The issue was Yoshiki supposedly getting a whole channel. Howard just filed a lawsuit against Sirius because apparently they're not paying him enough. As for the rest, it's just ignorant ramblings. Howard is popular and rich, but then again so are Jerry Springer, Paris Hilton, and the Jersey Shore cast. This country loves trash. Maybe Yoshiki should feel complimented that he isn't more known here.

I also don't think some of you either aren't aware or just don't remember that X Japan have been around for almost 30 years. It's not like they're a hot new band, anymore. Especially since they haven't had a new album since 1996. There's a better chance of an American knowing who Dir en grey are since they've released three albums and have done several tours in America. I do not know about your culture, but to me, making ignorant comments about someone as influential as Yoshiki can be offensive to other people. It is only a one-hour show on SiriusXM, dubbed YoshikiRadio. Thumbs down from me.

Stern is NOBODY outside of US ... Yoshiki and X Japan have international fans and had traveled around the world , while Stern does not have the guts to go outside of his old American comfort zone . These radio hosts need to take a geography 101 course and learn that the world is bigger than just USA. And BTW, I think Stern and his hosts are fucking racists,

I'm very sad to hear about Yoshiki's channel playing American music though. I would subscribe in a flat second if they did play Japanese music all the time.

I used to really have respect for Howard, and I dont care if hes an entertainer. You can be an entertainer, and still be intelligent. I've seriously lost every ounce of respect for him. I'm not a huge fan of X Japan, but I do like their music. Its pathetic that Howard has such a typical, moronic reaction. This is the reason why America is viewed as a country full of ass holes, because people like him with a big mouth can't accept things that aren't in their sect, or nationality.

Without Howard radio would be the same boring shit. Love him or hate him he earns respect because of what he established for modern radio. But the fact that Howard wasn't informed on who was being hired, and there is money on the line of course it's a concern. This is about business more than hate towards Yoshiki. The bigger picture is keeping subscribers to Sirius. It's about keeping the company alive. So if you want to prove Howard wrong then subscribe and listen to Yoshiki's channel.

Funny thing about Yoshiki, Howard....he could buy you out in a damn heartbeat if he wanted to. I don't know if Japan gets Sirius (most likely not), but if they did, Yoshiki radio would have better ratings than most american radio shows combined. I'm not being a fanboy or anything, but Yoshiki has SHIT TON of fanboys and girls. Honestly, Yoshiki probably paid for the spot. He has moneyz. And lots of it.

@TodizzleMONKEY I really find it awesome that someone brought up that Yoshiki could buy and sell howard as I was thinking the exact same thing for anyone big who hadn't heard of him and uses the whole concept of "I've never heard of this performer so they must not be big." I really wish people could understand that just because you don't know who a person is, it doesn't make them any less big.

I mean, what, is Howard going to think the japanese, (or any other country for that matter) are stupid because they have a rock icon like Yoshiki? "oh how cute, they think they matter. He thinks he's a big deal." It does seem very 'Typical American' of him during portions of this segment. He did sound more pissed at Sirius and I do hope someone educates him on the man. But we are missing the point that other big bands don't get their own radio shows so why Yoshiki?
