These vertical exercises really help,I increased my vertical for 2 days.I couldn't touch the board I'm touching it without a problem right now.It also increased my height.I'm still doing thsese exercises.

@NinjaLinebacker I did football in highschool. and I know ppl who did Football and track in college. It's about the same, depending on how you're being trained. Track athletes also lift decently heavy weight. A track athlete also has to be lean as possible, but as you know thats not the case with a FB player depending on the position. Track athletes also need to be at 100% at their meets, while a Football player can be injured or slightly fatigued and still play.

@cryingindian Your muscles are very specific to your training type. When I trained athletes in the past, I trained very specific to their sport. For example, I have trained free style wrestlers on the ground for power because a lot of them grapple after a take down. When I train them upright, it's very specific to their most common movement (ie. shooting for the legs) and throws. I suggest you train power (explosive) specific to your fighting style. I don't know if this helps, just ask me again

@cryingindian Your muscles are very specific to your training type. When I trained athletes in the past, I trained very specific to their sport. For example, I have trained free style wrestlers on the ground for power because a lot of them grapple after a take down. When I train them upright, it's very specific to their most common movement (ie. shooting for the legs) and throws. I suggest you train power (explosive) specific to your fighting style.
