  • Hi. Have put in an offer on a house in town. WIll mean Sarah and Mike must move in with us but we will divide the house so they have their own space. Offer is subject to our selling the one they are in, and getting another bond

  • Took the dogs for a drive to the Macdonalds Drive through.. I worked out that lady sitting in the passenger front seat,is as tall to the tip of her ears as me We do get some nice smiles as we drive through town..So we've had a late lunch/early diiner,I won't have to cook anything. *s*U got the girls their very own chicken nuggets.*s*

  • Allan did a lot of twisting when he came home. He opened the front door and the two cats ran between his legs. He tried to stop them but they escaped. So he is now snoring away in bed, and I have to wait up on the cats. I always get the short straw. Did they have straws in the sixties? Well the kettle has boiled so I'll go and fill my bottle. Turning quite frosty now so don't want to leave the moggies out all night. maybe catch up with you tomorrow.

Now I need my beauty sleep.

  • Good evening peeps. Or should I say Good morning. 2.45am here and I'm just home. We had a sixties night at the Golf club tonight. Sixties music that is. Not for the Over sixties....lol

I was only three when the sixties began. Allan felt right at home though.

A great night was had by all, though my poor knees will never be the same again. It's a long time since I TWISTED the night away......heeheehee. Don't think I'll be doing it again any time soon.

  • Good Morning friends.

Light overcast, mild (at least for us), 36°F ( 2°C)

  • "finally had" should be"finally have"

Have a great weekend and be happy!!!!!

  • Grandchild has a little friend over and her bedroom backs up to mine. Little sleep for me. but then I like to stay up late anyway.

I couldn't log on to You Tube tonight. It seems someone changed my password. It took me about a half hour to get another. I know I got the squiggles right. I had to finally had them to call my cell.No more using the same password for everything. I've got one now they'll never quess. HaHaHa,kids.

  • After 12:17 AM The witching hour and the witch is in listening to Susan. Calms my heart!

I've been trying to catch up with the posts and my email; I had over 300 emails almost all were spam. But do they put it in the spam folder? You guessed it-----not a chance!!! I'm going to dpend some time tomorrow and try to get unsubscribed from some of them. I suppose most of you are getting your beauty sleep.

  • Clog is having difficulty posting. If you check below, you will see that this morning I was also unable to post. The YouTube gremlins strike again.

  • Clog just sent me a message saying that Canberra is Australia's capital. I think that all the rain that they have been having must have affected her brain. Next, she will be saying something radical such as Toronto is not the capital of Canada.

  • @jimnpatcavell Isn't it? *LOL*

  • G'day pubsters *waving* another overcast day here more rain predicted. I'm into Saturday have a great weekend..

  • @clogwog1 As you were celebrating Australia Day at the time, why on earth did the Prime Minister go to an out-of-the-way place such as Canberra? We would have thought that she would've gone to Australia's capital, Sydney.

  • This is a third attempt. My posts are disappearing into cyberspace. They are not even appearing on the long page. Here is a general question for everybody. If my posts disappear into cyberspace, and YouTube does not accept them, why do I still get squiggles?

Here in upstate New York, we have rain and 41° F. (5°C).

  • TGIF!!

    Have a good weekend, all!

  • YT messaging seems back to normal-whatever normal means!

  • @385Mercedes That was a dreadful state of events hoe childish!,It's times like that when I'm not so proud to be an Aussie.

  • OK have a good one everyone *waving*

    Maybe nextime...

  • ‎"Faith" and "Action" WILL take you where you wish to be. "Doubt" and "Inaction" WILL make you history.

  • @everyonehasadream A lot of us don't know where we want to be. Some of us don't know where we want to live. The mystery of life .

  • @clogwog1 I've been looking at the stories from Canberra today. It's very sad!

  • @385Mercedes Which stories of Canberra Mercedes? The one where our Julia had to be carried out of a function to avoid protestors?

  • @clogwog1 Yes, that's the one; the leader of the opposition was there too?

  • @385Mercedes The silly thing being that Tony Abbott our Opposition Leader was the one that started it all by comments he made, that were misinterpreted, But it's not very often that both Prime Minister and Opposition Leader travel in the same car *lol*

  • @clogwog1

I always wish you the best, my friend and I know where my heart longs to be. It looks like I may be going to Asia in April? ♥ :-)

  • Just gone 10pm in Scotland. Guess what? It's not raining. I think it rained itself out today.

Glad to see a few more people about tonight. Though as usual I seem to have missed everyone. Hope everyone is well and waiting on Feruary starting. Isn't this year flying past...lol

  • @carolmac57 Hello, Carol! No rain?

    Good to see you again!

  • @385Mercedes Did you have a good day?

  • @clogwog1 Just very busy, school stuff!

  • @carolmac57 g'day Carol, it's still wet over here..

  • It's just gone 9am in my part of Oz

  • G'day pubsters, how goes it? Australia day was interesting. Our Prime minister had to be physically removed from an award ceremony after a large crowd of stirrers decided to go after her. It was a terrible thing to watch, the crowd behaved like a group of immature kids. Our PM lost a shoe which they say they will now sell on ebay..It's days like these that I wonder what being an Aussie means to people!

  • @clogwog1 Hi, Cloggie, it sounds as if politics is a mess everywhere!

    Nice to see you again.

  • @385Mercedes Hiya Mercedes,I've broken the cardinal rule and mentioned politics.

    I

  • In 1989, Pat and I were in Texas. We were with two Texas men, one of whom we knew quite well ,the other one we had just met for the first time. The newcomer had a lovely map book of Texas and Pat wanted to buy it from him. The man gave it to Pat but Pat insisted that he accept the $6.95. With reluctance he took the money. After the man left, our Texan friend told Pat that the man could afford to give the map book to Pat. The man was Ross Perot. I have been known to remind Pat of that event.

  • @jimnpatcavell interesting!!

  • Comment removed

  • OK, YT is very hostile today! Squiggles at every post; messaging is not working either. BBL!

  • @385Mercedes So that's why my PM didn't get sent? grr.....

  • Any Susan news or sightings?

  • @brendastar5 Nothing new on Susan so far as I'm aware. There are no dates for performance of her Musical, other than in the UK.

  • Oops. One family in a house with six rooms and a bathroom!

I really must learn to open my eyes and read what I dictate into the voice thingy.

  • Light overcast skies here, 32°F (0°C)

  • Newt is now ahead of Mitt in nationwide polls, thanks to the 10 million dolar funding of his campaign by a multi Billionaire couple in Vegas named Sheldon Adelson and Israeli born wife. What has Newt given for this support was asked in TV this morning? Ck it out for yourself.

  • @terrificbabe2 where? I can't find it.

  • @brendastar5 OK found it. The Boston born Adelson expects nothing.

  • @brendastar5 I will send several links by PMs

  • @terrificbabe2 okey dokey! I hope you got my Happy New Year email!

  • Comment removed

  • @brendastar5 You wrote:

OK got those anit semitic pieces.Judaism and Zionism are by no means the same.

I have not read the articles however, I did enjoy your typo. It would appear that the last two letters of anit should have been "al".for

  • @jimnpatcavell

    oops. thanks Jim anit funny?

  • @brendastar5 typo-should be anti not anit

  • @brendastar5 Hi Brenda *waving madly *I hope you're still here

  • @terrificbabe2 But isn't that money small potatoes, compared with the money Romney has?

  • @385Mercedes Adelson has over 23 BILLION dollars, so given his fervor , millions are pennies to him. Mitt only is worth some mere millions, and he is not going to risk a lot of that.

  • @terrificbabe2 Mitt is a billionaire too, but there's only so much that money can do. Sooner or later, it's going to come to a screeching end. Have you seen McCain's latest?

  • @385Mercedes Is Mitt a billionaire.?? His worth he said is between 250-300 million. Not a billion I don't think. Unless he is lying. Could be.

  • @terrificbabe2 What are a few zero's between friends? He's certainly by far the riches man ever to try to run to be president.

  • @385Mercedes G'day Mercedes *waving* Nice to see you here *s*

  • YT messaging seems to be having problems again!! GGRRR!!

    Have a good day, all.

  • The house I liked has been sold....Boohooo

  • @SadieMy Sorry about the house, Sadie, perhaps another will come along. Best of luck with the sale.

  • @SadieMy sorry to hear that! It wasn't meant to be!

  • Wishing all Pubsters a wonderful January 26, 2012.

  • @Nubbin1018 And you too dear Nubby

  • @Nubbin1018 same to you nubbin!

  • 12:40AM and all's well in my little part of the south .Everything is quiet and all asleep except for night owls like me. It was sunny and temp of 68F for the high.

Sadie, it sounds as if you have a great adventure ahead. I love old houses, too . We lived in an old house before we moved here in 2005 It had only six rooms. Closets were added after the house was complete. We needed more room so we moved here where we have nine rooms and three baths. Much better than one bath!!!!!

  • @Nubbin1018 Peopel look at these old iron house and it turns them off, but they have stood the test of time much better than some of the new brick ones. Would love to get my hands on it, but there is a lot to consider, especially selling our present one first.

  • @Nubbin1018 Good morning friends.

One family in a room with six houses in the bathroom! What a luxury!

The house that I grew up in had six rooms and a toilet - no bathroom. The house was approximately 120 years old. Mom and dad +3 kids had four of the rooms, aunt and uncle +1 kid had two rooms. The government destroyed so many homes and forced this crowding. The name of the government was Hitler's German Nazi government and the demolition company was called Luftwaffe.

  • Hello.

Ave found a VERY OLD turn of last century iron and plaster clad house in on eof the oldest suburbs , and we are wondering if it is worth taking a builder to go and see it and tell us whathe thinks. It is big, but at the moment stuffed full of terrible old furniture and tat. Nice big grounds

  • @SadieMy sounds like something right up my alley. lol

  • I did a copy and paste from the paper this :

While Adler was roundly criticized by many, Chemi Shalev also writes in Haaretz that there are likely many others who agree with the reasoning behind Adler's extreme words.

  • @terrificbabe2

People believe crazy irrational things, terrific. Many believe Elvis is still in the building. There are wacky conspiracy theories everwhere.

  • News alert: In this morning's paper it was reported Andrew Adler, owner of "The Atlantic Jewish Times" on Jan 13, 2012 wrote a column suggesting "Israel might consider assassinating President Barack Obama to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons" .........

Is this terroristic threatening or what ?

  • @terrificbabe2 Fear-mongering, perhaps?

  • @terrificbabe2 ~ It wasn't in my paper, terrif! But I never believe what other people say anyway! Don't care for Obama but wouldn't want anyone to harm him.

  • @leebivona I googled The Atlantic Jewish Times and saw it first hand. It has caused a firestorm. Google it for yourself and see what is being said in the paper itself. Many Jews are outraged too.

  • @terrificbabe2 Now that threat alone would.ve been grounds enough to go into battle!.So far Obama is the first President since Kennedy not to send American troops to involve itself in a war, perhaps at this rate the USA might no longer be considered as warmongers.

  • @clogwog1 You're incorrect about both Kennedy and Obama - Kennedy sent the military to Vietnam, and Obama (forget Libya& Afganistan for a second) just sent troops to Central Africa to help battle the Lord's Resistance Army. The troops were sent to Uganda, and will soon deploy to South Sudan, the Congo and the Central African Republic. In addition, the US Navy SEALs just rescued people held in Somalia.

Besides the aborted Iran hostage helicopter raid, where did Carter send the military?

  • @terrificbabe2 The article ignited a firestorm, his resignation called for. Adler resigned, apologized and was harshly rebuked by the Jewish Community which feels irreparable damage was done to the people of Israel, and Jews worldwide.

As Paul Harvey said, "And now you know the rest of the story."

  • @terrificbabe2. Brenda,

Extremists of any type, often exert an amount of pressure far greater than their actual numbers would indicate. Very disconcerting, given the power mass media seems to exert.

  • @385Mercedes yes, very true about mass media's power to put forth falsives. (new word?) lol

  • Being paged.

  • @jimnpatcavell Jim, you certainly are not in your 170's!!!

  • @385Mercedes ~ Hi 385!! Isn't it also Robert Burns night in the UK!!! How have you been? It is good to see you here! We miss you! We are all busy with our regular lives, but I try to get on whenever I can. Hub doesn't like me being on the computer much, so I have to limit my time! ♥

  • "Young and free?" I'm in my 70s and after almost 50 years of marriage I look like I'm in my 170s. Can I still sing "young and free" when the anthem is played?

  • @jimnpatcavell You're just a spring chicken!

  • @385Mercedes Are you trying to talk turkey?

  • @jimnpatcavell ~ Yes Jim, you can!!!!!!!!!!!! Your heart is young & your soul is free!!!!!!!!! And I am younger than you but look alot older!!Count your blessings!! (especially Pat, she is one of them!) ♥

  • Auatralians all let us rejoice for we are young and free.So begins our Anthem

Happy Australia Day to all the Aussies that may wonder past here *waving*

  • @clogwog1 ~ Happy Australia day, dear Cloggie!!! ♥

  • @clogwog1 Happy Australia Day clog.

  • @clogwog1 Happy Australia Day, cloggie! I'm having problems with YT and can't get here much lately. I hope you are well.

  • Good noontime friends. Last night I took Pat to a concert. It was really, really enjoyable. Overall, the musicians were very good but a few were especially outstanding.Reagan, the clarinet player and McKinley, a trumpet player were excellent. And that is not just my opinion either! Pat also agrees with me.

Last night we had a trace of snow, it is currently overcast which means that we missed the northern lights and the temperature is 32°F (0°C).

  • Hi clog. It has stopped raining here in Upstate NY. Snow in the forecast - more like normal.

  • I wonder if I'm in spam mode here too?

G'day pubsters,it looks as though the heavy rains we've been getting has turned yet again into a flood warning for my area of Oz,I guess I'd better stock up,because I wont be able to cross the bridge to get to town,So much rain and so little sunshine, but the grass still grows.

  • @clogwog1 It's Australia Day coming up, I hope you have a good one! "waving"

  • Oh my, the squiggle elves must know where I am!!! I just got the squiggle dencology! How did they know I am in the den? What if if I called it the playroom? Would I get the same squiggle? ♥ BBL, hopefully!

  • Unscripted Hollywood Squares funny questions , comic answer. Jackie Gleason recently revealed he believes in them and has seen them twice, what are they ? Answer : His feet.

What , according to Ann Landers , are the two things one should never do in bed? Answer:

    Point and laugh.

  • @terrificbabe2 ~ Jackie Gleason was the best!! We have all the Honeymooner episodes on tape! We watch them quite often!! ♥

  • @terrificbabe2 ~ Jackie Gleason was the best!! We have all the Honeymooner episodes on tape! We watch them quite often!! ♥

  • The temp here is 64F and sunny. I have been for a walk around the neighborhood. It feels like spring- especially after a brisk walk.

I need to go to the bank now and then maybe to the grocery store. I'm trying to feed the family a better diet with more fruits and greens. The bad part about the fruits is that they want it in pies.

Maybe I should try using splenda.

I hope you all have a great day!!!!!!

  • @Nubbin1018 ~ Our temp here on LI, where I am, went up to 50°!!! Wow!! Yes, it does feel like spring!! I like healthy pies! Tee hee! Make mine with citrus fruit & egg whites! A Lemon meringue pie is just what I am craving for!!! Thanks Nubbin! You're a great friend!! ♥

  • Good morning friends.Unlike clog, my little corner of the world has started out great. We both have rain. In the case of clog, the rain is spoiling her summer. In my case, the rain is melting the snow and we never have to shovel rain.

    Overcast skies, ceiling 2800 feet (840 m) and temperature of 36°F (2°C).

  • This afternoon/evening, I went to a big mall with a professional shopper, and an amateur shopper. The professional shopper found so many things that she had to have but Pat just purchased a screen protector for her Kindled Fire. Taylor, our granddaughter, drove both ways.

  • G'day and greetings It's not started out well in my little corner of the world, it's raining and looks like it's here for the next week.Oh well the plants and grass will enjoy it..

Have a good one everbody,! Byeeee *waving*

  • Good morning friends. 46°F (7°C) here with light rain.

Sadie, after hearing about remodeling your kitchen, I thought you already live in a fixer-upper.

Don't think of it as a fixed upper, think of the new house as a challenge.Your grandchildren (deliberate use of the plural) need a place to go wild. In Texas we saw a young child wearing a T-shirt with the words "Is dad away? Is mom being mean? Call 1-800-Grandma"

  • Agents not very hopeful of us getting a good enough price at the moment, to buy in town, unless we settle for a fixer upper.

  • Hiya. Butterflies dancing in my tummy all night after our decision to sell. But if is it meant to be it will happen soon.

  • We are scheduled to have +47°F tomorrow. Yes, 47°F (+8°C). And rain! Rain is wonderful, as we never have to shovel rain.

  • (ice magician continued). She is now 16 and has been invited to try out for the US Olympic team for the 2014, winter Olympics.

Next week, our high schools are only open to students taking the Region's examinations. Students not taking classes are not allowed to attend.

  • @jimnpatcavell That is amazing. For skating or hockey?

  • @SadieMy For ice hockey.

We understand that when the Olympic coaches went to see her in a hockey match, she scored four goals and made seven assists during her team's victory.

  • @jimnpatcavell How many get selected for the try out?

  • @SadieMy I have no idea of the selection processes for the Olympics. I feel sure that some of the younger members of the previous team would probably still be playing in the next Olympics. In this country, women's sports at the professional level are virtually nonexistent, so athletes are mainly drawn from the college athletes.

  • @jimnpatcavell ~ Your grandaughter Taylor is going to be looked at as an Olympian hockey player? Congratulations grandpa!! Here's hoping, keeping my fingers crossed!! ♥

  • @leebivona The hockey player is a daughter of a friend. We are not related. The hockey player's name is Taylar, my granddaughter is Taylor.

Both the fathers of the two girls have been friends since they (the fathers) were in middle school. The Olympian hopeful is Taylar and she is one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.

  • @jimnpatcavell ~ sorry, my ooops! I got all excited there!! It is supposed to rain sometime tomorrow here too! Also with temperatures above freezing. Good, it gets rid of the snow!! Yipeeeeeeee! Give me summer!!! ♥

  • I would think that such a community would tend to only attract old people. To come up with cash would typically mean that the purchaser has already paid off and sold another home. At least, that would be the general circumstances here in the USA.

Some of you may remember me writing about our little ice-skating magician. While still in middle school, she led our high school to the state championships and we won. She would often score 8 or 9 goals during a game.

  • @jimnpatcavell Actually quite alot of young families buying for second holiday/ weekend retreats. But it is a buyer's market.

  • @SadieMy ~ You have decided to sell & move into town to be closer to Aeryn? Wow that's a big step, but I am glad that is what you decided. It is nice being near family! ♥

  • We refuse to get another mortgage because we already have the one on the house Sarah and Mike are in. And because this is a shareblock the buyer has to come up with cash as well. So it may be some years before we actuallty move.

  • I need something to revive me. We have made the huge decision to sell up ourt beach house and move back into town. WIll probably take about a year to sell, but still so conflicted.

  • @SadieMy This place is very small and David will be a teenager in five years' time. I cannot se myself at the age of 60 doing the gardens here, with the terrible soil and sea spray and lack of water. Would rather be in town nearer Aeryn, making a garden for her to play in.

  • @SadieMy Sadie, at age 60 I really do hope that you will will be gardening. My young wife is 70 and she loves to work in the garden.

There is another form of gardening that I hope you don't take up for years and years. That is, pushing up daisies.

  • @jimnpatcavell Oh I will still be gardening. But just not in this unrewarding place.

  • Anyone in drinking at 9am on a Sunday morning? Or still here from last night? I hear snoring from under the pool table

  • @SadieMy

Morning Sadie. Well probably your lunch time now. Almost 11.30am here. I'm in and I'm drinking. But only a cup of tea. I was here last night but no-one else seemed to be. 13 hours since I posted last and we're still on the same page of comments. Unheard of in the 'OLDEN'days.......lol

  • @carolmac57 Hello, Carol, surely we aren't OLD, are we, LOL?

  • @385Mercedes

    Definately. My body says so.....lol

  • @carolmac57 Just tell your body it needs to rethink all this! Maybe over a cup of tea!

  • Well I'm used to talking to myself so I'll go away and come back later!

  • Anyone else here in the Pub on a Saturday night? I don't see anyone!

  • It rained all day here today, too. I got out and voted this morning- did my duty as a good republican. Temperature now is 59F. It got up to 68F today. Not the ususal temp for Jan.21 here in SC but I'm not complaining.

My black cat was home this morning!! Hurray! Hurray!

  • @Nubbin1018

Hurray indeed Nubbin. Glad it came back. It breaks my heart to lose any of my cats. But to lose one and never know what became of it is even worse. Wouldn't wish that on anyone.

  • @Nubbin1018 Oh, dear, I've been reading about that event!

  • @Nubbin1018 I meant about the voting- not about the cat; I'm glad it came home!

  • @Nubbin1018 Good morning friends. Very light overcast skies with 15°F. (-9 ° C).

Nubbin, so glad to read that your good cat came home and that you did your civic duty and voted for a black Republican. Colbert/Cain need your support.

  • @jimnpatcavell

sorry. I did not vote for your choice. Better luck next time. (not that I have anything against black,I go for potential performance)

  • @Nubbin1018 Oops. I just realized that I have a couple of adjectives transposed. Your posts referred to a "Black cat" and a "good Republican".

I was erroneously referring to a good cat and a black republican.

  • Have a good one *waving* My sunday is full of drissle, and dark clouds,we're havinga mild wet summer, oh well it beats a heatwave!

  • No-one around. Guess I'll call it a night.

  • So I'm a cateler Sadie. I am so glad someone could give me a title. Always thought I should have one. Your's seems as good as any. Thanks for that.

  • Still around even. And that's my first post of the evening....lol

  • Hello everyone. Anybody dtill around?

  • Guess everyone gone again. Sleep well, whenever you get to bed.... lol. 10.15 here and a lot cooler thank the Lord

  • catelers - people who cater for cats - Carol, in other words....

  • But today David was gone almost the whole day paying with other kids in the complex, making a tent out of umbrellas and sheets and having great fun. I didn't worry about him for a minute as I know everyone here and the kids always have someone to go to. Everyone stopped by with snacks for them . They really had a ball. If we moved into town he would be behind walls with no contact with other kids except at school

  • @SadieMy Hi, Sadie, I guess there aren't any easy decisions!

I'm glad it's a bit cooler -I'd be happy to send you a few blocks of ice!

  • @385Mercedes No, and we would have to sell this place outright because it is shareblock buyers cannot raise a bond for the price. Cash buyers are very scarce at the moment

  • @385Mercedes G'day Mercedes *waving* glad you still come here from time to time..:-)

  • Hello. I played with my baby today. She is eight months old and almost standing on her own.

  • @SadieMy Well Sadie nothing beats that

  • @mildred993 No. nothing. And Doc is just so smitten with her. I cannot remeber he was ever so pathetic with our own two, although he was very sweet with David

  • @SadieMy Sarah came without Mike and we got on so well. She was much less defensive and we connected better than we have for a while. Was enchanting to watch little one crawling about chatting to herself about everything

  • @SadieMy She was fascinated with my reading glasses. Laughed whenever I took them off.

  • @SadieMy I'm glad you're enjoying family time, Sadie!

  • @385Mercedes Sarah really wants us to move back into town so that Aeryn gets to know us better. We have a great life here near our beach, but it is very noisy and crowded over hollidays and weekends and one rather lives in a goldfish bowl with everyone knowing your business. But they are a young couple and we are worried that if we up sticks here and move in they will be off again n a few years to another town. Mike is rather a restless sort of person

  • Hello peeps. I've spent all night trying to find a suitable laptop for Allan's 65th birthday. I think I've finally found one though I'm very nervous about ordering something of any great value over the net. Well it's done now. Any thing will be better than that wee 10ins note book he has. He says it's okay, but he gets a bit frustrated when it's so slow. I'll try and get back later, but I have to sit watch some silly horror film. If not see you tomorrow. Off all weekend.

  • @carolmac57 I'm sure the laptop will be fine; I agree about those teeny ones! Enjoy the horror movie!!

  • Good afternoon/evening friends. This evening, Pat and I will go to a college hockey game. Tomorrow morning it is granddaughter's swim meet.

  • Is anyone here or do I have to talk to myself? Hub is talking to me, but I can't seem to get a word in edge wise. He can talk a hungry dog off a meat truck! He's that good!!!!!!!!!!! ♥

  • @leebivona Hello, Lee!! How goes it?

  • Comment removed

  • @jimnpatcavell ~ I was going to reply here at the site, but maybe what I have to say should be said privately in a PM. ♥

  • Hello peeps. Didn't the French visitor know that Scotland is a braw place to visit? If your daughter has cats, get her to add a few to the m'mselle's bed

  • Good Carol any money back from them is good news,I just know mine will be huge there isn't really anything I can do about it.daughter has a visitor again fron France and the cold is becoming a problem, warm clothes have been bought but not helping all that much. She has heating on all day to try and help this shivering soul.

  • I'm having trouble getting here from the upstairs computer! I keep getting bounced. I hope everyone is well and happy!

  • 6:38 AM here in upstate New York. Time to serve Pat................ with tea and biscuits.

  • Good morning friends. For us, the weather has warmed up significantly. Already it is up to +16°F (-9°C). It is expected to warm up later during the day with temperatures approaching freezing.

Sadie, the offer of free ice still stands if you are willing to pay the shipping.

  • I must go to my channel ans watch one of my favorite singers,Josh Groban. It's like Susan, my day isn't complete until I see them and hear Susan an Josh.

  • @Nubbin1018 Have been watching the BBC programme for the search for a lead for the remake of Joseph and the Amazing Tech Coat. Josh Groban got to pick one of the final 6 to perform with. Although the all have amazing voices, Josh just blew them to oblivion with his. He manages to stay warm and powerful at the same time.
