  • Props to the kid for having decent form on those cleans. When football players clean its usually a back and wrist breaking extravaganza.

  • I'm loving the Viktor Vaughn playing in the background :D DOOM! Haha! Not a bad lift btw. And to all the dumb people out there, you don't compete using a power clean anyways. Squat clean is redundant. It's just called a clean. A lot of people call it a power clean as they do it when they aren't maxing

  • Good lift. Very athletic. NOT a power clean.

  • dude i can do 315

  • @dancingbear15231 dude post a video! this guy is a beast he's in grade ten you mushroom tip!

  • That's not a power clean; it's a squat clean. But still nice.

  • that was one weird ass powerlifting meet but okay

  • Dustins got no form at all just wai till vegas when a kicker beats him.

  • damn u got real good form for the clean nice

  • it's refreshing to see a high school kid who can clean more than he can bench. Everyone uses the bench as a standard to see how strong you are, but true power is derived from the legs and is a much better measure of an athlete's explosiveness.

  • you're right.

  • true, but when you want to see a test of pure upper body strength bench is king.

  • @TheGrammerNazi i clean a lot more than a bench... but thast just cause my bench sucks ass haha

  • dam thats dam good. i cant even do that much and i went to state for powerlifting. kudos

  • congrats man!

  • thanks alot

  • A 280 powerclean aint a big deadl at my school.. but good work and great form!

  • it isn't that big of a lift at our school either...i did it when i was a 15 year old sophomore....i currently hold the United States national high school power clean record in the 169.5 weight class with a clean of 310 pounds.

  • no you don't

  • shut up kerwin lol

  • lol...hes all my frnd talks about!!

    great job!

  • That's not a power clean.. it's a regular clean.

  • Molson 31, you are absolutely correct that is a clean. Not a powerclean.

  • Full clean yeah. Good form though!

  • finally a person who can do a clean right, for fuck sakes so many high school athletes bastardize that lift and claim to be uber strong

    good job man

  • I don't think that's a power clean, but a regular clean. Although, that is awesome.

  • very good form on the powerclean especially when compared to other high school athletes..

anyway, what powerclean routine do you suggest to increase it?

  • How did he go from 171 to 188?

  • It's Churchville Chili in Rochester NY, the school records got to be over 300 something, they turn out a lot of good power lifters. This was at a local meet in the 171 lbs. weight class, a week later he competed in a higher weight class, 188lbs, at the NY State meet in Buffalo. He's going to Los Vegas next month to compete in the National Power Clean Competition, the national record for his weight class (169) is 300lbs, as you can see in this video he cleaned 280 relatively easily.

  • Because he felt like lifting in the heavier weight class with better competition. I think he weighed in with all his clothes and shoes on.

  • well better competition was definitely at 178 that day.lol

  • @passionofthedill

no i competed against him he weighed in in his shorts

  • wow thats really good, whats the record at your highschool?

  • The record at Chruchville Chili HS is 412 pounds set by david harvey Bowen
