  • Wanna get away....?

  • Exceded side reach limit, Need it boom over front for maximun reach/load. Opperator error.

  • @hillberg100

    No kidding Sherlock!

  • Holy smokes, but do they need a contractor?

  • im not cleaning that up

  • The outriggers weren't pinned. He probably started to tip then the outriggers slid in and when that happens especially with that much stick out you are screwed.

  • Americans...

  • @schl0tte yeah europeans never flip cranes...... sheeeesh.

  • Imagine all the insurance implications involved in this ....................... good grief!!! Where in Anaheim was this???

  • I had an old operator tell me one time when I was an oiler"That man pays you good money to push those outrigger switches use them!" A lesson I have never forgotten and one this operator had to learn the hard way.

  • it looks like the outrigger wasnt out on the most important corner unless it broke and slid back in when it tipped

  • @UNSCSpartan043 I don't think the crane would have gone over if they had been fully extended from the start.

  • Oh yes! I know how to run it the crane!

  • This is nothing. You should see what happens to my burnin' colon on taco night.

  • I guess its like a good neighbor State Farm is there

  • Like a friend........State Farm is there

  • oh shit!

  • that D**2 will get you every time.

  • When a utility company wants to park in your driveway just let them do it

  • Hey most likely had full extension! Thats what happens when you go on its side the beams will slide in! As you can see the front outrigger came all the way in and the rear went to half! He just went out of chart.

  • reminds me of a site where a crane operator quickly dropped a pair of steel rafters to the ground. He claimed (which was true) the outrigger's where breaking through the concrete base he was set up on. I asked how did he know did a bell go off in the cab he replied "Fuck NO ... I felt it moving (the crane) and A bell went off in my arse"

  • Very funny, but true,I am a crane operator and know the feeling you mentioned.

  • so first he has to have a power pole installed in his yard (I'm guessing he didn't choose to have it) and then he gets home to find a large dent in his house - lucky bloke.

  • house craning for dummies

  • lucky bastard he was going to get his kids

  • Luuuuuccccyyyyy......somebody has some splaining to do.

  • smooth

  • This is why neighborhoods need alleys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is why we have underground cabling!!

  • What you guys missed is that on this model Grove crane (looks to be an RT between 60 to 80 ton) look at about 0:33 on the video the jib is on and the fly pin pullout or stinger is out. On this crane that setup is only to be used with outriggers at full extension and boom angle higher than 45deg look at the boom jack and position of crane it was boomed down way below 45deg. As bad as I hate to blame an operator (I use that term lightly) unless there is something I don't know it his fault.

  • Тук тук

  • It does kind of look like the outriggers towards the house are not extended out all the way! At least that's what it looks like on this video!

  • and they clearly had room to fully extend. oh well just check the diff oil while she's up there

  • the fire fighters are like

    hmm what do we do????

    "Well theres your problem"

  • a crane truck is a wrong position

  • no more pen and pencil its all done by computer it tells u how much ur lifting and what ur good for in that position

  • This crane operation job is somewhat a brainy job, where you have to know the weight of what you pick up and then look up some charts and tables and do some calculations but most of these guys are blue collar workers and allergic to pen and pencil , they get lucky most of the times and then one day ,,,,,, BOOM

We had a string of crane accidents in Las Vegas in

one month with several workers dead .

  • Yea, I guess you never heard of a CCO. It takes both experience and education. You can buy the education but not the experience. This oper. just got some no the out riggers are not at full extension but there are other things you guys don't know about this type of crane.

  • so what is a CCO ?

  • poor house

  • check the video "roberto cevallos muller" and watch the end............this is real

  • thats gotta suck :-\

  • that is what i like to call ownage

  • WOW!

  • OMG!!! The operator suck so hard...

  • Dip shits at Sims huh. What makes you the crane expert. You are probably the one who had these accidents. So inexperienced idiot, my company is still sticking with Sims. Back off.

  • Fail.

  • Comment removed

  • SOMEONES GETEN FIRED

  • So the crane wanted a hug?

  • That house nearly got craned in half.

  • The operator had his outriggers out only on half. So he probably didnt have the crane balanced properly.

  • How in the hell??

  • You can see the guy didn't even have the outriggers on the house side extended all the way.

  • @EGM210 outriggers are usually used on boats. What did you mean at what time we can see them?

  • @LucaTurilli89 The outrigger are the feet that stablize the crane from turning over.

The red/orange hazard rings on the machine are located at the end of each outrigger.

  • @EGM210 nice the guy is dumbass for this reason :).

  • That must have made one helluva noise...

  • holly shit!

  • He was installing a new dishwasher.

  • only rats would be stupid enough to pull this shit off

  • no wonder i had a leak in my house!

  • BTW IT WAS A WHITE GUY...NOT MEX

  • fucking beaners wrecking cranes

  • fucking negro ,get a job

  • what?

  • boring zzzzz

  • leaky roof?

  • little timmy tried his best to follow his parents advice and put away his toys in the toy box when he was done playing with them. but on this day when his parents came back from work timmy learned an important lesson, not to take everything litteraly.

  • you go to pick up your kids and your house has a crane in it when you get back. that sounds horrid.

  • he must not be bob the biulder

  • crane company and crane insurance takes care of this house to completely repair

  • Peeping Tom got it Wrong!

  • stupid Mexicans

  • fun ny if the white crane, the one helping the yellow one, also toppled XD

  • O MAN!!! My original Van Gogh painting was in the attic!! WTF?!?! lmfao.

  • Could I just say 'owned'.

  • i heard about this

seeing as i live 5 min away from it lol if that

  • Your Fired!!!!

  • i bet it wasnt the guy's fault

  • LOLOLOLOL

  • rofl union i dont know man, i think there on it

  • the company was union. used to work for them. they just wanted to get another three feet past the capacity of the crane and then it happened...

  • Yep. They push their luck and exceed the ARM specifications of the crane. The farther out a load is from a center point, the greater its effective weight becomes. You can suspend a 5-pound pail of sand from the elbow of your outstretched arm easier than you can in your hand; It feels much heavier there. That's the concept of ARM. Just like in a plane: If a load shifts back to the tail, the plane will pitch up, stall and fall.

  • lol som fat basterd probally got out of the crane and it tipped! lol

  • if it was a union job it would have cost three times as much and the crane would've tipped over on breaktime.

  • i hope the owner of the house didnt have anything valuable in the attic !!!!

  • Hey, free skylight.

  • Looks like the crane got tired and decided to take a rest on the roof :]

  • the must get a vet person out of the house but the crane can t handle it !!

  • Obviously...some non union "coon ass" outfit. Hey operator...ever hear of "load charts"...."gee...is that measured in how many joints I smoke?" Join the union...scab!

  • Actually it was a union contractor working of the phone company.

    What a fool you are.

  • if the description says it was installing a power pole then it was...

and no do not start a conversation on global warming please. and obama is losing no matter what you do. (lol)

  • Winning an argument on the internet is like winning in the disabled olympics.

    ..You're still retarded.

  • who said i was retarded?

  • somebody gonna be sued.

  • we all know the law dont operate a vehicle whilst intoxicated. and so vehicles shouldent be operates whilst they are intoxicated XD lol

  • omg lmao its just laying on its side!

Lots of repairing to do eh?

  • idiot didnt have his outriggers fully extended

  • and this guy may need to practice on see-saw...

  • telephone pole is heavier than it looks.

  • I must tomorrow ask my chief if is fall of crane in our insurance of buildings :))

  • leveling had nothing to do with this accident,,the ground is flat..look at the outriggers,,,you cant pick over the side with the outriggers even partially sucked in....17 years working with cranes,,ground zero ironworker

  • If they were really quick they could get the crane righted and then everybody take off before the homeowner got back.

  • It looks like the power company was trying to set the pole in the backyard from the street and over the crane went.

  • stupid operator...bet he is non union...

cause of tip...look at the outriggers .the back one is all the way retracted and the front is out 1/3 of the way.. go union for a reason,,,

  • I guess you never heard of LEVELING when the surface is not perfectly flat. And if they are public utility workers in California, then they are either union or out of a job. Some states allow that injustice to happen all the time. If he was non-union, he would be fired. As a union worker, he would get a warning, maybe on his second or third time he might get fired.

  • Doh!!

  • i hope the crane is ok

  • (Operator) "I need to lay off the weed".

(Employer) "No, you need to find a new job. Here's your paycheck, and have a good day".

  • Just imagine that you're having dinner and suddenly a piece of steel come down from the roof xD

    lol hahahahaha

  • "Boss! Boss! I think i pushed the wrong button again!" LMFAO!

  • retard crane operator + large heavy pole = fucked-up house :)

  • that rich fuck has a really heavy safe being put in his house,,,,

    ironworkers BOSTON "7"

  • be real easy to grease the ujoints and axel pivots right now...

  • wtf something slike that are onyl happens in the usa...

  • does your home insurance cover crane penetrations

  • THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS!

  • "Honey ? Did you install a big yellow crane on our roof ?"

  • at :46 sec's you can see my dads truck between the two fire men :)

  • I lived in the house to the left of that one :) i was walking home from school when i saw all the ppl out front that was a trippy day. I couldn't do anything the power was out. lol

  • who's gonna pay the bill???

  • Yea!! That load chart that has to legally be on EVERY CRANE doesn't just have nice pictures to look at. Its actually full of useful information..Fire that guy before he kills someone...
