Thanks for the video.... I've been thinking about buying this model for some time, but I'm not sure after looking at the close up of your video. I'm left handed and concerned that the placement of the magazine release would put it just underneath my trigger finger. What do you think? Is this gun feasible for a left handed person?
I'm new to this handgun game. Haven't even purchased my first pistol yet. Love how you give a first person view of the guns you are reviewing. Would you have any recommendations for a first time handgun buyer.
@abradras Well for now just for home defense and range shooting. After a couple months of range training or once i feel that i am safe and sure enough with my shooting i will get my CCL. What would you recommend for conceal carry first timer?
@TheNaiWolf sure .. if i could afford 3-4 guns than i would get "baby" Glock for cary. then G19 for HD and some crazy special tuned / equipped gun for target shooting and probably some 40-45cal. for fun / HD ..but i cant :-) so .. im stuck with all purpose G19 :-) HD/carry hybrid :P
@abradras I really hope i'm not bothering you with all these question. I went out and bought the G19 not long after i posted my last comment!!!!!! The g26 just didn't fit right, in my hand. Just seems to fat. The salesman recommend a S&W M&P compact they didn't have one there for me to hold. What is your opinion on that gun? If you know. Once again sorry to bother.
@TheNaiWolf np man :) well , i dont have any real opinion about that gun, since i never even saw one. but i looked stats. mag capacity G19 -15 , S&W -10 , trigger pool G19-5.5lb , S&W - 10lb ..well thats fucking heavy pool i dont think i would like that. also i believe G19 is more duty proofed gun than this M&P. i personally would not pick it over glock.. but , thats just me :) it means nothing. on end of the day you can kill someone with that gun as good as w G or any handgun :)

@TheNaiWolf well.. almost any big gun company is making some "mini" model. there are couple cool models . take look at - Beretta BU9 Nano its regular 9mm. then super cheap Kel-Tec PF-9 ..i believe its a one of flattest 9mm ir not flattest subcompact. Sig Arms P290 more expensive ..hell its a SIG! :-) Walther PPS -great gun, you can exchange backstraps, expensive. Diamondback DB380 -super small, but i heard quality issues. also its .380 ..i dont like that . there are many options :)

Awesome video. Ive never had trouble with that Walmart Federal ammo in my Glock 17c, actually no ammo I've had problems with. My glock has never jammed in the 3 years Ive owned it.
How do you like those Gen-4 grips so far? I got a chance to fondle a Gen 4 G19 at a local shop and it almost felt like the grips were a bit too aggressive. Do they break in well?

i have shot many guns including smiths like the 629 66 and a snubnose 19. and many glocks like the 29 27 30 and the 23 also many 1911s... and i shoot really tight groupings with em but with my uncles glock 26 gen 3 im really inaccurate any suggestions
@Squawfisher I have shot it a lot without any problems what so ever. its still stock right now but i am planning on filing the bump off to light'n up the trigger a little.

I just bought a gen 3 new last week. It has the "bump" on the trigger bar like the gen 4. Glock has stated that it will continue the gen3 line even with the gen 4
my glock 21 sf i bought a year and a half ago or 2 has that same bumb on the trigger bar, but it slides together smooth as butter, i can send a few pics of it if u want

Fun vid. I like the 1st person view of the sight picture. My next pistol purchase will probably be a 9mm compact. I'm torn between an XD and the Glock. Love watching you shoot, especially the view down the barrel. I had a G26 some years ago and sold it, good excuse now to get the 26 back in gen 4! That bump on the trigger bar is to keep the bar centered on the firing pin safety, nothing more. It doesn't add to trigger pull #, but armorer told me the gen 4's cruciform comes up higher on the firing pin lug, better connection. Do some polishing and a 6# trigger spring and you have a smoooooth light trigger! did it on my G20.
Nice close up. My Glock 26 Gen 4 has about an extra pound of weight to the trigger pull compared to the Gen 3. Not that big of a deal but it's definitely heavier.
I am going to join the Glock Shooting Sports Foundation so that way I can get a Glock for a great price. I would like to get a Glcok 19 as my first Glock. I also found out the best time to buy a Glock is during Glocktoberfest (October) During Glocktoberfest you get a lot of free stuff when you buy a Glock such as extra Magizines, Glock range bag, Glock Hat, Glock Beer Cooler, Glock Buck Knife and Glcok Shirt etc, Its for only for one week in Octorber.
Hey Brandon, Thanks for the vid. I've got the gen 3 26 and was wondering how the Gen 4 would shoot. Looks a lot like how mine runs. Never had a problem with mine except when I tried some reloads from a shop in town. I had one stove pipe in a box of 50. Not bad. Have a good one.

i picked up a gen 4 G27 about a month ago. Great gun. flawless as usual. i recommend it to anyone looking for one. Trigger pull was lighter then my g23 gen 4 also. once fired it went back together just fine. Nice Video. keep them coming!!!

Nice! I've been thinking about a Gen4 G26 but have two concerns. 1) The new grey finish. Is yours already showing wear? I thought I saw it on your close up camera shot. 2) The rough texture on the grip rubbing my skin while carrying. You mentioned in a recent Gen4 G23 video how you didn't like that too much.

Hey Brandon, Thanks for the vid. I've got the gen 3 26 and was wondering how the Gen 4 would shoot. Looks a lot like how mine runs. Never had a problem with mine except when I tried some reloads from a shop in town. I had one stove pipe in a box of 50. Not bad. Have a good one.

Great gun. I just bought a S&W Bodyguard 380 but a Gen 4 27 is next on my list. I really like the feel of the new frame and texture. Enjoy it.

i picked up a gen 4 G27 about a month ago. Great gun. flawless as usual. i recommend it to anyone looking for one. Trigger pull was lighter then my g23 gen 4 also. once fired it went back together just fine. Nice Video. keep them coming!!!

I am in the market for a 40 cal ,,, been looking at a g 23 gen 4 or a s&w m&p c ,,, really like the looks , trigger and feel of the s&w ,,, seen you have had both ,,, whats your opinion ?

Sweet. Just got a Gen 4 Glock 27 cuz I wanted compatibility with my Gen 3 Glock 23. I love Glocks. Best guns in the world in my opinion. Next on my list is a 10mm. Maybe a full size model this time.

Nice! I've been thinking about a Gen4 G26 but have two concerns. 1) The new grey finish. Is yours already showing wear? I thought I saw it on your close up camera shot. 2) The rough texture on the grip rubbing my skin while carrying. You mentioned in a recent Gen4 G23 video how you didn't like that too much.

Nice video. I rented a 26 some time ago, and recently fired a good friend's 26. The things are deadly accurate and handle beautifully! Reliable of course. Good luck with yours and enjoy.
