Fell out of favour with the British public a little with their silly line-up changes and whatnot and this single was a British band trying to be American again. It didn't work with past acts and it didn't work for them either.
If anything, it was the line-up farrago that probably annoyed the fans more than anything. Me included. Silly girls. And they're still going hither and thither with more line-up changes...
