@stuntevie seems he was using the tiptronic (manual tip shift). Faaaaar too slow :-)

I have a tiptronc as well but I never use it, you can't beet the adaptive automatic.

Best is: if it's a 6 series, just relax and enjoy the acceleration. If it's a M6, just relax and enjoy further :-). If you become more and more agressive during the drive, the adaptive autimatic makes you a Schumacher No. II :-)
