Wir haben DarkForces damals von einem Rechner zum anderen kopiert, via seriellem Kabel oder wie das hiess.

Die 80Mb haben damals knapp 24 Stunden kopiert :-)

Legendäres Spiel.

Gibts das eigentlich auch etwas aufgemotzt auf heutigen Rechnern zu spielen, wie zum Beispiel Doom mit Skulltag?

@MultiDoubledutch hehe wegen skulltag hab ich auch schon geschaut, aber ne das war anscheinend ne eigene Spielengine, keine doom engine. Aber ich erinnere mich dass ich vor einigen Jahren eine Mod gespielt hab, die in der Mache war, wo Dark Forces komplett in Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast nachgebaut war mit Sounds, Models, Texturen und allem. Sogar die epische Dark Forces Musik war in echtem Orchester Sound statt dem alten Midi gedudel. Ist aber schon 6 Jahre her, kA obs fertig geworden ist.

Ich hab es mir vor kurzem bei Steam geholt. Und das Spiel ist ja der Hammer. Damals ging es noch um ordentliches Gameplay und nicht nur Technik. Crysis ist ein scheiß dagegen.

Habe mir selbst vor kurzem "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" angetan. Wirklich erbärmlich, was heutzutage für ein Müll produziert wird.

Dark Forces ist wirklich um Klassen besser als der Technikschrott von heute.
