  • We're called Hard Knocks & Bluegrass, playing our first show at Bluegrass on the Walls, part of the Maiden City Festival, Derry. Not listed in full here is tunesmith Kieran Murray from Belfast. (Hanway & Murray is a duo.) Myself and Aran put our heads together to create this new band, and we were delighted to see it work as a unit -- dare I say team! We're doing twisted things to Foggy Mountain Breakdown; we played it straight just a few minutes earlier for a live radio broadcast. ~ Tom
