i like the trax too but rock just isn't that mainstream in korea. you can tell just by record sales.

and if you can hear the stuff minwoo is playing, you can tell that its way different from the trax stuff.

he probably left because he just wanted to do his own thing. there is no doubt that the trax is a label band and probably is being treated like a product by their management. the takes away the musical inspiration of the artist.

no i dont think so. even in the trax, their style is visual kei only in the beginning. they arent really visual in the later pv blaze away (rose already dyed his hair black at that time). then rose left & (no offence) now the trax is just like a typical boyband.

well, a possible reason why trax ended down that past was that Typhoon the main vocal had some throat surgery done and wasn't able to sing like he usually have.

i remember reading something about that back in 2008 but someone correct me if i'm wrong

You're correct about Typhoon having throat surgery, but I don't necessarily think that's why their image changed.

People need to keep in mind that they are on SM. SooMan wants his bands to make profit, and unfortunately, rock music isn't so popular in Korea, especially not heavy rock. SooMan knew they weren't selling, so he tried to change their image to better suit the consumers. The band doesn't really have a say in what image SM wants them to have, either.

that is very true that the band can't really say a thing about it. also rock music is as popular. if i'm not wrong, i believe R&B and hip pop is more popular.

i guess even if they aren't a rock band anymore. it's a good thing that they're still present and hasn't be disbanded yet.
