Usmcranger2, the incentive to invade Iraq was the first step to failure. This was a flawed and unconstitutional conflict to begin with. How can people like you support a cause which weakens America's defense?

Americamatters, if you truly believe America does matter, you should be supporting withdrawal from Iraq. You shouldn't be supporting this false cause. All this war has done for this country is drive America into bankruptcy, kill our soldiers, and leave America without proper defense.
YOU HAVE IT BACKWARDS! Don't people see that this war is doing more harm than good? The defense of this nation is not rested in the hands of Iraq. History repeats itself. Read a book and learn.

This war is not about terrorism. There is a good documentary on YouTube called "The Bases are Loaded"; watch it (it won't kill you). The US invaded Iraq to build permanent military bases there. We're going to be in Iraq until the oil runs out, and we're going to deal w/ terrorism for decades to come b/c of it. How would you feel if Turkey had military bases all over the U.S.? Bet you'd hate the Turks.
