  • Nice!, yours has a different block casting to mine, is it a Aussie made Mk15?

    mines made in England (Norton Villiers maybe?) and had a horizontal sump plug in the aluminum base casting.

  • @Aussie50 Yes your right it is different, yours is the english one that is made in wolfhampton and has the horizontal fill plug and villiers points, mine is made by norton villiers and has side mounted fill plugs and Pheleon magneto and points.

    mine is also called a villiers C15 engine because it made here in Australia.

  • this engine would of still had perfect oil rings, only if the previous owners had maintand it correctly, trust me there built to last as uve probably figured out urself. my MK15 did alot of work, the previous owner told me he ownned from new, and just regular mantanice kept it running forever.
