This was way too strident for my liking -great voice but it didn't work for me. Susan Boyle has a much nicer voice even if not as strong. Her vibrato would bring a lovely breathy and more restrained element to this song.

Concerning your comments on Susan Boyle's verson of this song....you have to take into consideration that she was doing it with NO MUSIC at all...and was also pressed for time so had to speed it up a bit. :>)

I do love this version that Tina does though. I love the song, and she does it very well. I fully expect Susan to perform it well also. Will it be as well as THIS one? Who knows..everyone has different tastes in singers. Have a good one.

the susan acapella version is way more cool, she sings it in an entire different range, faster and happier, also her voice is much more beautiful. If susan sings it in this original slow way i think i wont like it a much as i liked the acapella version.

Very good singer yet does not have the quality or the versitility as Susan has shown in both her performance and her CD of Cry me a River! Tina has to stretch to hit the upper range.....not a natural. However she has a very good voice
