This is how I see it: Not because the ppl from the circus are not hitting or being cruel with the animals mean they are not treating them badly. The ONLY fact that they're there, (in the circus) being used to entertain ppl, no matter how nice they treat them is enough to think they are being treated as objects. @MermaidPaigee Elephants are not caged. Horses, Goats, Lamas, Zebras, and other live stock are not caged. They are kept in large free roam fenced areas. Elephants are placed on padded chains which allow them to move, sit up, and lay down very comfortably during night hours for protection. Animals in the circus industry out live any other of their type. They don't have to worry about getting slaughtered, about shrinking natural habitat, or where their next fresh meal will come from. YES, GOOD.

Do any of you know for a FACT that Barnum and Bailey treat their animals with cruel or unusual punishment? The truth is we don't, for all we know, they are cared for greatly, or maybe not. The trainers that beat the animals from the video was from 2009 from the Red unit called Zing Zang Zoom. This is Barnums FUNundrum which is a blue tour. I went to the circus with my daughter and while i was standing in line i heard someone say "here they come" and when i looked it was Peta with signs and i couldn't stop staring at the signs to the point that the lined moved and my daughter said lets go. Then once i got inside I was absolutely disgusted at the fact that the animals are forced to perform. I thought i wanted my daughter to experience the circus but i will never EVER go again...in fact how do i sign up for PETA!!!!
