I believe the straight arm is used to accelerate the racquet's head speed. When doing so, you are accelerating with the buttcap of the racquet toward the ball vs. sideways. I would recommend this motion to any player. Its a motion that you should not think about but rather work on hitting the balls more infront and pronation timing!
@hi10spro Not really, the key is fluidity. A slight tuck/bent in elbow will follow your hips... and extend outward with the buttcap of the racquet toward the ball... and pronating when you hit it. The only thing I feel is the strings hitting the ball ( until i mishit ) lol. It sounds complicated but it should be a natural and smooth motion.
@didanhtennis corel is awesome but super complicated, this wasn't complicated it's just windows movie maker, it's a canon ixus 115--i think the equivalent in america is the elf but not sure about the numbers--OH wait, this is my old camera--the casio z10? shoots hd. my canon is AWESOME. you can see the difference in the new vids

@hi10spro It's not for everyone... but I'm willing to record myself and have you look at it!

Gary, did you record this yourself? What camera did you use? What editing software did you you use?
Thanks
