Nice moves. I'm new and it seems like EX shoryuken does the same damage as ppp shoryuken, so theres no point of wasting stock. Maybe theres stun, but I have no clue what that is anyways xD

Think is, most of those three hit combos aren't practical. Yeah, you get good damage.

You don't have much time to check for hit confirmation, meaning a lot of whiffs, and you'll get punished with those very combos you have done, or hit confirming combos.

I have been playing since SF2 stuck to Chun and Blanka but didnt get into the competitive scene till about 2002

and Since this game goes back to the classic style of Street Fighter It was easy to get back into the groove of things. I played SF4 the day it appeared in the US arcades, and once the Console came out thats all I played for 2 months.

uhh that was cool you could have used ex hadokens to link up to the ultra too. you could have also done ex tatsu into ex hadouken and follow up with ultra im not sure if that would have increased the damage on his strongest combo or not.

What do you mean when you say "combos that you can do in Casual or Tournament play."? Are some combos not allowed in Tournament play or something?

What I mean when I say that is that these are combos you should use in tournament play, because some combos in "true" combo videos are very wasteful and in tournaments will get you style points but you wont really have much of a chance of advancing. These are just combos that will help you survive and do damage to your opponent when the chance opens itself.

I hope that you could understand that explanation, I have a tendency to ramble on and lose my point.

1) On a couple of combos you land two Dragon Punches in succession - I'm having an incredibly hard time doing this, any timing tips you could offer?

he's doing a lp dp (light punch dragon punch), then an ex dp. only lp dp's can be combo'ed into anything. example: you can hit a lp dp into super, or you can hit a jumping in opponent with a lp dp into the ultra.

the ultra fireball moves slower than the super, so the only way to combo into it is to hit them with the lp dp while they're in the air.

mp= Medium Punch

hp= Hard Punch

lk= Light Kick

mk= Medium Kick

hk= Hard Kick

and ex is doing a move but with 2 punch or kick buttons instead on 1
