This game is great but I got a question. What is the point of the takeoff sequences? I mean, every other minor sequence like airborne refueling and landing earns you bonus points. But how do you get bonus points from taking off? Do you even earn any?

Ah, well at least it IS fun. But I don't get it. why do only a select number of missions have takeoff sequences? If they're really just there for fun, I think they should be in every mission. I wouldn't get tired of them and if I did, I could just press start to skip it.

Indonesia huh, Thats cool. I thought Garuda was a japanese name. But anyway in answer to your question. I don't think the Pilot from the first Ace Combat (aka Air Combat), had a call sign. It was originally an arcade so I don't think giving the pilot a callsign was high on their list at the time. BTW, does Indonesia have any good fighter planes? That were specificely designed and manufactured in your country?

@filipinowhiteboy. Well, to be honest, the fighter planes that originally manufactured in my country isn't that good. Example, "Belalang", that means "Grasshopper" in English. And it still prop-powered. But the fighter My country have from the import business, Indonesia has Sukhoi Su-27, F-16 Falcon, and F-5E Tiger. I don't know if those're good. But maybe Su-27 is a good fighter. And many people agree with that.

Lucky for your country our Phillipine airforce Retired the better aircraft like F-5E tiger and the most Decent fighter in the arsenal is the Aremacchi 112 the same one used in AC5 that was a training jet.

Beat Hard and you unlock expert. Beat expert and you unlock ace difficulty.

Fenrir's Leasath color is obtained only by obtaining all other paint patterns in the game, and SP1 can be unlocked by beating the SP mission with an 'S' clear rank on the 'Ace' difficulty.

id say get ace combat zero the belkan war. its great! not as many missions but it tolds the story 15 years BEFORE ac5. so, i think you should get it. also for PS2

Lol, I used a cheat engine in my psp for this. (I finished the game without cheating) And I thought it would be cool. It had this cheat where you could fire infinite special weapons. I used the emp plane one. I kept firing and finished the last mission less then 5 min! (though I could no see what was I doing cause lots of emp was striking)
