How cute that your hubby gets you makeup for Christmas. My hubby would rather stick pins in his eyes than go into Sephora. I have that Too Faced box. It's really cute, but the she shadows leave a lot to be desired. They crease even when used with TFSI. Too Faced products have great packaging but most of the products are just o.k.

ahhhh laura geller her baked products are to die for; they are small but are long lasting. i wasnt a fan of hers until she introduced the baked collection to qvc last year. the bronzer is my fav, stay tuned 4 a video i am doing on tips 4 her line.

smashbox tip for you: use the sonja kashk (her line is avail @ target) liner brush. awesome dupe for the smashbox brush but more affordable. i am not sure the liner in your kit is the waterproof but i have tips for it as well in a future video!

hello, very nice haul. Id like to know what you think of the Smashbox shadow collection. I just recently returned it back to Sephora. I felt the color wasnt as pigmented as the regular smashbox shadows and all the pale colors were very similar. But I did LOVE the brushes. Please do a review on that set. thanks!

hi Emily, actually the Laura Geller Blush only has a layer of shimmer on the top, after that thin layer the actual blush is quite matte.

I wish I could ask my fam for makeup but (even thought their hearts are in the right place) they have no idea what to get, if I ask for the high end cosmetics, they assume that's where they can go for the cheaper stuff and that I mean any makeup at all so I end up with dollar store things or those kits that you buy for children from Wal-Mart etc. lol, it's odd.
