yes it came as a surprise to most...but welcomed under the already existing fruad of going green. now the unbelievablly high elecricity rates should be pushing those who can still afford their homes very soon into making tough choices...hydro or food?
and still the local suppliers have been okay'd to up their rates above and beyond the already exorberant ones from the province...shamefull but expected. the smart meters will soon be used as a means to control/restrict usage and so few see it.
