I think a toon shader might make a difference... It worked for the the CG version of "Dragon Ball Z" video games.

good job, but I think the Thundercats should not have human skin. They should have full body hair (thin hair to give them cat like texture) since they are cats. When watching the cartoon I always saw them as being hairy, even if you couldn't always see it.

I think it looks great. Learning 3d I can understans how difficult it is to translate Lion-O to 3d form & you've done great.

honestly, good idea. but i think liono's cartoon design doesnt translate real well into 3D. maybe change the patterns on the face a bit. he kind of looks like bozo the clown.

@KRJ74 yes I can tell you being a 3D artist myself, that those darn awesome cartoon designs usually look goofy in the real world... But still you have great command of human anatomy so altering the costume should be easy, however coming up with an original design that looks good is also tough, but its what we do.
