  • listen assholes. he didnt MEAN to kill anyone. drinking and driving is a common crime. it happens all the time. in this case, people got killed. but just because people got killed, doesnt mean that moroso is a worse guy than other drinkers and drivers. people make mistakes. shit happens. get over it.

  • @osubuckeyes14 He drove drunk and killed someone. Fuck. Him.

What about that is so hard for you to understand?

  • @osubuckeyes14 hey dude....fuck you. he didn't accidentally get drunk either did he? you apologetic cocksucker. IT DOES MEAN HE'S WORSE MORON!! he took a mom from her kids while breaking the goddamn law. fuckin jerk.

  • i hate when there is no replay in these kind of videos

  • Do u have a replay of thecrash?

  • R.I.P Rob Moroso 1968-1990

  • Who the hell gave my comment a thumbs down? He drove drunk and killed a lady. Fuck him.

  • Rob "think when you drink" Moroso

  • rest in peace rob moroso

  • if you grew up in west palm beach, like i did....you knew who the morosos were. they weren't snobs or asshole people. robbie was a great kid. he made a horrible mistake that will stain his name for all time. he was in the right place at the right time with just about everything. he had the publix sponsorship , which, if you know anything about publix you know he would have been funded forever. he had good equiptment. he was a good fella, he just fucked up really bad. rest in peace to all of them

  • The real tragedy was that of Tammy Williams, a 27 year old mother of two children who was innocently driving home from work. She wasnt exceeding the speed limit by 40 MPH, nor did she have a 0.22 blood alcohol level. Two kids 8 and 7 years old at the time had to grow up without their mother.

  • Sad.

  • He had a lot of talent, but I think his problem was that he never really had it tough...not that it was all handed to him, but it seems like he took his early success for granted. He wasn't really wild, but he made a big mistake in judgement that fall and paid the ultimate price, and took another life as well.

He was sort of the first of the "new breed" drivers, who started out in top equipment, without having to race 3rd rate stuff for a few years until proving himself to a top car owner...

  • well said.

  • Pretty tragic story all-round really.

  • Yeah. Sad way to end a career. Don't drink and drive.

  • I miss Moroso. He has my first name.

  • The sad thing is the dude was so badass at the time, and no one will ever know just how badass he could have been. In a way he kinda reminds me of Stefan Bellof. A badass driver that no one will ever remember.

I just wish he had gone out in a blaze of glory, instead of a cloud of disgrace.

  • How was he a badass?

  • He began his career at 17. When he was 19 he finished second in points in the BGN series (1988) and was the champion in 1989 (all before he was 21).

Moroso could have been as good as Jeff Gordon, considering his massive success at such an early age.

His death occurred his rookie year in the WC (Nextel cup series). Even without finishing every race he had enough points to be rookie of the year.

He could have been that good. He could have been badass. Unfortunatly noone will ever know.

  • I think a lotta the success went to his head a bit. When you've done as much as he had I think you can get a bit carried away with the things you take for granted.
