I found out how....It's some kinda program blocking tf2 I don't know what is the program, So I'm stuck

well this happened to me so what i did is click the steam icon on the desktop bar thing and click servers should work :)

Change your Download region to the next nearest .

In order to do that , select views in the upper left corner of the Steam store .

Select settings after pressing views . Then Select downloads and clouds . And then you can change region .

Maybe that´ll work

what I did was uninstall my anti virus and install another anti virus guard. previously i had McAfee and it was trial so it just stopped working, so I installed avast latest one and walla, all the servers worked again.

It's the router, all the servers are overloading it. A possibility is that your routers are old and that you have to buy a new one.

I got a different problem. After I connected to the server and the game starts, the server is completely not responding to me. Its like my computer(client) is sending packets of data to the server(host) but its not sending me back packets of data.

Same here, but when i started playing at 11 o'clock it worked perfectly. Then server browser crashed and it did showed server 2, 3 times some hours later you guys are right, thats free to play problem. Too many people are playin' this game now so servers are overdosed :(

I'm having the same problem, game worked fine last night so I'm guessing it has something to do with the game going free to play today.
