i have the whole Quran on cd by Qari Shakir Qasmi, and it's beautiful. you can get a set from Rolex trading co in Bradford for about £50.

He recites in beautiful Panipatti style, which is uncommon in the Arab world.

I first listened to this about 9 years ago - this particular recitation - managed to get a cd with surah(s): ya-sin, ar-rahman, waqiah, and muzzamil - it was with the english translation inserted in like this recitation. After searching for about 3 years I managed to get CD with his recitation of the last chapter with english translation - had to order from Pakistan. He is untouchable. Simply untouchable !!!!

Qari Shakir Qasmi's recitation of Surah Rehman is the best I have ever heard. He truly captures the zeenat of the Quran. Mashallah, Jazakallah, may Allah bless him and forgive all his sins.
