Yeah, you can beat it alone, but it takes a while. Adrenaline +2 takes you about 10-20 minutes with Akantor Bow. Without Adrenaline 40-45 minutes. Great Sword and Adrenaline +2 takes about 10-15 minutes.

God, seriously, think about it.

If you went to Japan and all you had was a rough translator pocket book. I'm pretty sure if you thought it out, you would translate the description of the monster, not the name. Since the translated name is even farther from being correct, the descriptions will be the same no matter what language.

eg. ダイミョウザザミ(name) translated is daimiyouzazami. Do you know a monster in monster hunter who's name is spelt exactly like that? NO, NONE.
