I have sealed hundreds of driveways 90 days after I have Installed them and never in 20 years have had a problem with sealing too soon. I always suggest you seal after 90 days so that oil would not leak on asphalt that has not been sealed, that is when you will get soft and damaged spots. Asphalt that has been sealed does not allow the oil to penatrate into the asphalt , instead it will easily wash off the surface and not cause permeante damage.
You should wait 6 months before sealing a new asphalt driveway. 90 days is too soon.
