I understand that the lyrics were intended to be in reference to God, but I dont believe in God and this song still touches me in the way that someone who knows how to bring you back from the depths can. Humans have the ability to be caring and loving as well you just gotta find those people. And this song reminds me of the good in people
This song has me on the verge on tears. Such a beautiful depiction of God's love for us. I watched the video with this song in it with parts of The Passion of the Christ in it and it just touched me to see what this man went through to make sure that we didn't have to suffer like him, so that we could live on until he returned. Thank you, lord, for doing this for me and for loving me regardless of how much I sin or feel like failure. You're always there no matter what.
@cwilliams1092 It's not unmanly to cry bro. I'm 23 as well, and this song hits me very hard. I'm going thru a really hard break up right now, and trying to find solace in prayer and just getting closer to God, and this song helps me remember, He has to make me the man I've failed to be in the past. Amen?
I'm not religious and I didn't realize that this song had a religious meaning but the power and serenity behind doesn't even faze me and I honestly don't care about it being religious at all
@xxEmoEmuPyschoxx you may be saying that but really on the inside your seeking for attention. If you really didn't care you would have never commented. I'm not very religious but i won't deny the truth that this song brings emotions. You need to stop looking for attention in the wrong ways.
@HatenOnJews Haha , you crack me up . No , I'm not searching for attention in any of the wrong ways because I'm not looking for any . Matter of fact , you are . 'HatenOnJews' ? Seriously ? I'm not going to argue with someone over the Internet more or less on Youtube either . You don't know me && I'm glad that I don't know you . Ha .
240p ..We meet again. But forget that shit, this song really changed my life. Made me realise there's no point in living with the past mingling around in your mind. Forget, move on and enjoy life and all it has to offer to the utmost.
This song is beautiful poetry even in the mood of the vox alone; He who is beautiful and divine still accepts the filthy and evil as they are. That wonderful dichotomy is why melodic h/m-core is so epic and inspiring for me.
My friend was driving home with his girlfriend and got in car accident in which his girlfriend was killed, at only 18. We played this song at a rememberence show that was held for her.. it was very sad.
1 once had a vision of going home to heaven. it stared at 2:23 - 2:55. the begaining i was walking home from were ever i work and at 2:23 i got shot and all of the sudden i was in this cart thing with other people and theres people in jump suit running all over the place and im screaming whats happenin where am i goin. at 2:34 one of them tells me "your going home. lets get them out of here." & we take of into this tunnle goin upwards into them light. when i got threw, jesus said "welcome home."
I knew UnderOath without knowing about this Christian side of them, I didn't knew they're Christians, and they actually was one of my fav bands before, now I just LOVE them!
this song is so beautiful. mesmerises me, and i have to play it a few times in a row. for that brief period of time i feel like i have managed somehow to rise above the encumbered life of the world and have reached a moment of peace and sweetness, like a glimpse of heaven =)
Hey Unfaithful.... i will make you stronger, Hey Unloving....i will love you, Hey Ungraceful........i will teach you to love. This is a beutiful song. Thank You liquidice for posting this song :)
@tjd07x Lol. (: That's okay. I actually just figured out this was also a song about suicide. I think. Idk, someone said that. So it's kinda sad. It makes sense though. Meh. Whatever tickles your fancy, mate! (: Make out all you want. :P
@Seizeyourexistence actually Aaron Marsh from Copeland did guest vocals for this song. he also did guest vocals for the bands Lydia and Anberlin too on certain songs.

They are all based off of the morals of life and the better good of those around us. Why can't we agree that these are all good teachings nonetheless?
This song made me a better person. Mentally , and emotionally. Best feeling in my life. Thank you God, and Underoath for all the doing. Much appreciated
Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship. If your relationship with God is healthy, like he intended for every living being on the planet, then your music will reflect that. All talent comes from God, not from your own creativity.
@NoobyMac I also believe that Christianity is a relationship, but from what I learned from school, Christianity is a religion (James 1:27). I myself is an altar server for 6 years. I live in a Christian country and I studied in a Catholic school. I love God and I know that He gave us individual "talents" but we can't call them "talents" if we don't nurture them with our "creativity". God bless my friend
@NoobyMac your stupid, i'm not that religious, but i do believe in god, and worship him. and i like to listen to satanist music sometimes?? ignorant people these days......
@NoobyMac sorry for my ignorance. overall what im trying to say, is that it doesn't matter who you are, or what you are. Just listen to the music you enjoy, and that's it. Dam
@Korndude4561 I'm all for enjoying music. I'm planning on going to York University in Toronto for music, actually, but don't tell me that music and God don't mix. God CREATED music for crying out loud.
Amazing song :'). Reminds me of a friend ive lost...
Hope you are not hurting anymore !
I know God Is Watching Over You !

God didn't have to send His son to die on a cross for our sins, but He did.
He didn't have to give us His Holy word, which is available for us to read every day of our lives, but He did.
He doesn't have to sanctify us, and make us more like Him over time, but He does.
He doesn't have to give us eternal life in heaven with Himself, but He will.
God is great, and he will always and unconditionally love us and mold us to be closer to Himself!

religion doesn't counts when it comes to music

@emandudeeman That's where you, my friend, are sadly mistaken.

@NoobyMac I am a Christian sir. And I'm proud of it. I just think that religion doesn't define how "good" or "bad" music is.

@emandudeeman

Korndude4561 1 year ago
@NoobyMac sorry for my ignorance. overall what im trying to say, is that it doesn't matter who you are, or what you are. Just listen to the music you enjoy, and that's it. Dam

@Korndude4561 I'm all for enjoying music. I'm planning on going to York University in Toronto for music, actually, but don't tell me that music and God don't mix. God CREATED music for crying out loud.
