  • Amazing song :'). Reminds me of a friend ive lost...

Hope you are not hurting anymore !

I know God Is Watching Over You !

    RIP Bradley <3

  • Beautiful song. One of my all-time favorites :')

  • I understand that the lyrics were intended to be in reference to God, but I dont believe in God and this song still touches me in the way that someone who knows how to bring you back from the depths can. Humans have the ability to be caring and loving as well you just gotta find those people. And this song reminds me of the good in people

  • This song has me on the verge on tears. Such a beautiful depiction of God's love for us. I watched the video with this song in it with parts of The Passion of the Christ in it and it just touched me to see what this man went through to make sure that we didn't have to suffer like him, so that we could live on until he returned. Thank you, lord, for doing this for me and for loving me regardless of how much I sin or feel like failure. You're always there no matter what.

  • I got my theology teacher to play this song for class prayer

  • Jesus im ready to come home.

  • oh god i think im crying.

  • I don't care how unmanly this is, but I'm a 23 year old man and this song makes me cry every time I hear it.

  • @cwilliams1092 It's not unmanly to cry bro. I'm 23 as well, and this song hits me very hard. I'm going thru a really hard break up right now, and trying to find solace in prayer and just getting closer to God, and this song helps me remember, He has to make me the man I've failed to be in the past. Amen?

  • & Jesus, I'm ready to come home <3

  • You don't really see bands write songs like this. I like this band

  • i love the break down :)

  • awesome as song

  • Agnostic, and in love with this song :)

  • @RDawgsuperpro1996

    Amen with that.

  • This brings back memories :c

  • Ich Liebe Underoath s2

  • Ich Liebe P.O.D s2

  • God didn't have to send His son to die on a cross for our sins, but He did.

He didn't have to give us His Holy word, which is available for us to read every day of our lives, but He did.

He doesn't have to sanctify us, and make us more like Him over time, but He does.

He doesn't have to give us eternal life in heaven with Himself, but He will.

God is great, and he will always and unconditionally love us and mold us to be closer to Himself!

    Romans 8:35-39

  • My Favorite ! Like TannerCaruthers417 ; I'm ready to listen to this song everyday until the end of my life !

"Jesus, je suis prêt pour rentrer à la maison"

  • I'm not religious and I didn't realize that this song had a religious meaning but the power and serenity behind doesn't even faze me and I honestly don't care about it being religious at all

  • @xxEmoEmuPyschoxx you may be saying that but really on the inside your seeking for attention. If you really didn't care you would have never commented. I'm not very religious but i won't deny the truth that this song brings emotions. You need to stop looking for attention in the wrong ways.

  • @HatenOnJews Haha , you crack me up . No , I'm not searching for attention in any of the wrong ways because I'm not looking for any . Matter of fact , you are . 'HatenOnJews' ? Seriously ? I'm not going to argue with someone over the Internet more or less on Youtube either . You don't know me && I'm glad that I don't know you . Ha .

  • 240p ..We meet again. But forget that shit, this song really changed my life. Made me realise there's no point in living with the past mingling around in your mind. Forget, move on and enjoy life and all it has to offer to the utmost.

  • This song is beautiful poetry even in the mood of the vox alone; He who is beautiful and divine still accepts the filthy and evil as they are. That wonderful dichotomy is why melodic h/m-core is so epic and inspiring for me.

  • My friend was driving home with his girlfriend and got in car accident in which his girlfriend was killed, at only 18. We played this song at a rememberence show that was held for her.. it was very sad.

  • unfaithful, ungraceful and unloving, I will love you, i will love you♥

  • Oh sweet angel of mercy

With your grace like the morning

Wrap your loving arms around me <3

  • I'm sick of making mistakes. Sick of being weak. I want the life that he wants for me. I want it back

  • this music was made with a really care....

  • The song would have so much less emotion if it wasn't for the screaming. 3

  • Comment removed

  • lol the screaming completes this, spencer and aaron go really well together

  • 1 once had a vision of going home to heaven. it stared at 2:23 - 2:55. the begaining i was walking home from were ever i work and at 2:23 i got shot and all of the sudden i was in this cart thing with other people and theres people in jump suit running all over the place and im screaming whats happenin where am i goin. at 2:34 one of them tells me "your going home. lets get them out of here." & we take of into this tunnle goin upwards into them light. when i got threw, jesus said "welcome home."

  • @abcjohnlock1993 lol ahahahah jks

  • I have a tattoo that says 'I will teach you' because of this song.

  • I sing along to this song every time

  • oh fuck. the screaming hit me like nothing else- sent chills up my spine. this is fantastic.

  • I think the screaming was unnecessary in this song....but it was still an AMAZING SONG(:

  • @geocouldfly are you kidding me, thats the best part

  • I knew UnderOath without knowing about this Christian side of them, I didn't knew they're Christians, and they actually was one of my fav bands before, now I just LOVE them!

  • this went to my funeral playlist :p

  • the chorus is very humbling. It's Christ's attitude towards us.

  • Buttcheeks. Kbai

  • The Theme Song To My Heart <3

  • I love Underoath

  • I always get chills in the end, such a beautiful song

  • I remember my chaplain played this for morning prayers at school.

All the kids (including the teacher) in my class shit their pants at the screaming and I was sitting there just singing along. ~

  • this song is so beautiful. mesmerises me, and i have to play it a few times in a row. for that brief period of time i feel like i have managed somehow to rise above the encumbered life of the world and have reached a moment of peace and sweetness, like a glimpse of heaven =)

  • The lead singer of my favorite band showed me this song :O Fucking love Buddy Nielsen

  • I can not stop pressing the replay button.

  • That's not Aaron Gillespie singing it's Aaron marsh from copeland. I can't believe I just found out. I've been listening to both bands for years

  • New favorite song<3 makes me cry

  • Why do UnderOath songs start with the metal at the end of there songs? o.o another song that dose that is Too bright to see to loud to hear.

  • my body tingles when i hear this song..

  • @robspudbob meant to dislike the dude under you

  • Hate Christianity, love Underoath

  • And jesus, im ready to come, home .. best fuckin part of the song

  • @TannerCaruthers417 THIS. This song literally makes me want to cry EVERY SINGLE TIME. And when it ends, I'm always like, can I just die now?

  • 13 people cant escape.

  • Making out to this song is awesome.

  • @tjd07x Haha, awkward.

  • @tjd07x Because this is a song about/to Jesus. Lol. That's awkward.. Idk. That's like having sex to hymns. Lol.

  • @BrilliantlyBecks oh lol i never realized

  • @tjd07x Lol. (: That's okay. I actually just figured out this was also a song about suicide. I think. Idk, someone said that. So it's kinda sad. It makes sense though. Meh. Whatever tickles your fancy, mate! (: Make out all you want. :P

  • one of the best UO songs ever :) aaron's voice is amazing!

  • I can't stop listening to this <3 It means so much to me right now :')

  • I can never listen to this song just once. It's so catchy and I just love it. Even if it plays over and over it would never get old. :)

  • Sounds like COPELAND ,, singer! D: nice song (:

  • @Rikimaru471 It is Aaron Marsh from Copeland singing.

  • @Rikimaru471 tahts cause it is hes also in the band the almost

  • @Rikimaru471 it is its Aaron marsh of Copeland and Aaron Gillespie singing at the beggining

  • @Rikimaru471 Aaron Marsh is featured on this song.

  • @Rikimaru471 my favorite part about this is that the singer from copeland sung on the track with aaron. such a good idea

  • @Rikimaru471 he did guest vocals on this track

  • @Rikimaru471 It is! Aaron Marsh is the guest vocalist :)

  • @Rikimaru471 The clean vocal part was sang by Aaron Marsh from Copeland

  • @TheBenchoong No it wasn't....

  • @UmbrellaSkies5 yeah it was.....

  • @Rikimaru471 This song is featuring Aaron Marsh so that's why it sounds like Copeland :)

  • @Rikimaru471

it is copelands lead singer numbnuts!

  • @Rikimaru471 it is copland singer aaron marsh

  • @Stringbean1717 You do understand it's Aaron Gillespie right?

  • Comment removed

  • @Seizeyourexistence actually Aaron Marsh from Copeland did guest vocals for this song. he also did guest vocals for the bands Lydia and Anberlin too on certain songs.

  • love underoath. :) fave song

  • @A7Xrocks7138 Drum beats wouldn't have worked as well for this song, it would have created a heavier mood. They did what they did to achieve the desired mood and effect, and it sounds amazing.

And usually "rap beats" are redundant and annoying, I found real variation to the beats in this song.

  • @A7Xrocks7138 This isn't metal. Underoath is post-hardcore but this song is neither metal or post hardcore.

  • @A7Xrocks7138 So insanely fast double bass with insipid retarded breakdowns belong in a song like this then?

    Good call bro

  • @A7Xrocks7138 rap beat huh?

Electronic drum sounds like this have been a part of music way before rap was introduced. It's just to add to the song and to keep it mellow

  • I love this so much, its beautiful, but im anything but religious.

  • does this song make anyone else cry?

  • @43r3410v3 makes me cry almost everytime.

  • @43r3410v3 yes jesus speaks

  • i know underoath are a religious band, but some of the comments on this site terrify me. it seems that in the eyes of "true" christians the only sin is using the brain your illusory father-figure in the sky apparently gave you. i believe in right and wrong, not good and evil, because i don't need a reason to be nice. i looked at the world, saw the truth and found FAITH; you looked at the world and were frightened so made a blanket to hide your head under and called it RELIGION

  • Beautiful song. Underoath brings a great message with amazing music. They bring a light into a world that is fading into darkness.

  • Im not a fan of screamo so i don't listen to underoath but this song is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sick its unreal

  • sounds like copeland

  • @dakotawint that's because aaron marsh was the guest vocalist. he sings in the first three or so minutes, and then aaron gillespie takes over. haha

  • this song makes me tear up, God is so beautiful

  • "Here's my kiss to betray, desperate to brush the lips of grace..."

Does that mean when Judas kissed Jesus after he turned on him and were about to take him away?

And how we are all like that in a way?

  • i love this song :)

  • por que no la subtitulan

  • This song always makes me cry. It was me and my ex's first kiss, when I took him home. He was my world, I would have done everything for him. I still love him deep in my heart, and wish he was still my friend. I miss him so much, everytime I hear this song..

  • Religion has caused bloodshed in our society, and on youtube xD

All I can say is, haters f*ck off.

  • @bernie6127 somebody needs more fiber in their diet XD and why are you on a christian band forum if you don't like religion? don't you ape thumpers always throw that "aha but the bible says that you cannot judge me" crap? It's not about a religion . It's about a relationship. If all you think christians are about is the typical sunday type, then you fail. I never go to church, and I read the bible some. So does that make me less of a christian? no. I'm not perfect either though.

  • Stop arguing over religion!! Just enjoy this beutiful piece of music!!! Jeezus!!

  • is aaron singing at me im atheist lol :D see he made a song for me hes so cool haha :D anyways love the song o.O

  • @ThereIsAHeavenX youre atheist and your name is there is a heaven? lol?

  • @ilyLaura1 yeah lol :D its name of an album etc... :D its quite funny :P but i dont think neitheir exist :P i taught of it too when i made it loled :P but theres nothing wrong u know i happy how i live even do underoath is an amazing band.... and the way they express their things with "god" is prob awesome just as their epic christian breakdowns :P lol

  • @ThereIsAHeavenX haha ohh i see :P nicee channel btw :)

  • @ilyLaura1

    :) thank u we frends now <3

  • Oops, the comment I made before was wrong. It was Paul who said "The greatest of these is love". Either way. Same deal.

  • please check my acoustic cover of this awesome song ! see you !

  • When will I ever come across a Christian song that lacks seventy-page long discussions about the band's religion?

I could go to a black metal band's song right now and I wouldn't see a seventy-page discussion about being atheist or agnostic, or even satanic.

  • @eNmityCoD7 unfortunately, no. this is youtube. stupid people will never stop arguing about stupid things or putting down other people's beliefs despite the fact that they are BELIEFS. i find the best solution is to ignore the attention seekers

  • I really want to know why people take religion so seriously, it's a metaphor on its own. May God exist, may he not exist, these people do and those who have written all of these passages are. They are all based off of the morals of life and the better good of those around us. Why can't we agree that these are all good teachings nonetheless?

  • This song made me a better person. Mentally , and emotionally. Best feeling in my life. Thank you God, and Underoath for all the doing. Much appreciated

  • stop arguing and just enjoy the music, i personally believe in God but i respect everyones view on life and faith so please stop =)

  • this is pretty much the greatest song ever written.

  • wow, this is a good song, you can tell these guys really and truly love the Lord! =)

  • religion doesn't counts when it comes to music

  • @emandudeeman That's where you, my friend, are sadly mistaken.

  • @NoobyMac true words.

  • @NoobyMac I am a Christian sir. And I'm proud of it. I just think that religion doesn't define how "good" or "bad" music is.

  • @emandudeeman

Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship. If your relationship with God is healthy, like he intended for every living being on the planet, then your music will reflect that. All talent comes from God, not from your own creativity.

  • @NoobyMac I also believe that Christianity is a relationship, but from what I learned from school, Christianity is a religion (James 1:27). I myself is an altar server for 6 years. I live in a Christian country and I studied in a Catholic school. I love God and I know that He gave us individual "talents" but we can't call them "talents" if we don't nurture them with our "creativity". God bless my friend

  • @NoobyMac your stupid, i'm not that religious, but i do believe in god, and worship him. and i like to listen to satanist music sometimes?? ignorant people these days......

  • @NoobyMac sorry for my ignorance. overall what im trying to say, is that it doesn't matter who you are, or what you are. Just listen to the music you enjoy, and that's it. Dam

  • @Korndude4561 I'm all for enjoying music. I'm planning on going to York University in Toronto for music, actually, but don't tell me that music and God don't mix. God CREATED music for crying out loud.

  • @NoobyMac I belive artists did.
