The sarcophagus is not grand and it had no proper ritual like the kings so i'm guessing that's just an unknown minor priest who served a pharaoh or a non-important noble-man
I just think it's a horrible thing to take a body from a grave no matter how long it's been there. Time is irrelevant when the person and the persons family thought this would be their last resting place. Rotten lot thinking your science is more important than the very real feelings of people.
@rosetinker: We all get recycled, all parts of us. I have probably already eaten some of the atoms of my distant ancestors in the food grown locally. Or does Mother Nature remove dead human bodies out of the eternal cycle somehow?
i know that we want to find out about our historys and all that but i find it very rude and disrespectful that people want to go digging up bodies of our anstestors and moving theyre bodies, would you want your body to be dug up after youre buried? theyre as bad as grave robbers, just because mummys dont have tombstones saying RIP doesnt mean you shouldnt let them rest in piece.!!!! if I die, I want to be buried with a piece of non degradable paper that states I was buried here because I let loose the most dangerous poison that will kill everyone in a 10,000 mile radius......and that luckily it was all contained in this coffin....and if your reading this, your fu**ed.
