  • when i die, this song will be playing in my head as i look back on the good and bad times in my life...

  • Gungrave ROCKS

    The story is buffff awesome

In my opinion gungrave is based on "Scarface" (Harry Mcdowel-Tony Montana) going to the top, thinks like this, and then the fall of all when the world is yours

  • Harry...... Mcdowel......

    DIE

  • where can i download this?

  • The broken heart...

  • @Momentum139 Hahaha, yeah. I liked that scene in the game, but when it appeared in the animé, I was on the edge of my seat, hoping it would somehow not happen. But Harry screaming BRAAAAAAAAAANNNDOOOOOOOOONN!! seemed strangely appropriate, even better than the little speech he gives in the game.

  • I'm glad they added this Highest Rated Comments bit.

This comment needs to stay on the first page.

  • BRRRAAANNDDDOOON!!!!

  • Blandon Heat-O

Good series, although I preferred the video game's ending.

  • Quite true. The anime ending was obviously... (I don't want to post any spoilers.)

Ever played Gungrave overdose? A lot of people have missed it, it's the second part of the story.

  • Actually I played Overdose first! XD I bought it on a whim and was blown away by how awesome it was. Then I tracked down the original game, beat that and then watched the anime last.

Shame that there may never be a third game....=(

  • What? Really? I feel the anime's ending felt more complete.

  • I feel that way, in a mild manor. It was incredibly depressing though. Especially for me, because I watched it as a 13 year old. (Obviously I didn't understand about emotions as I do now.)

It's still an amazing story though.

  • I think I prefer the animés ending. Very emotional, and brilliantly done. It made a terrific final episode to an awesome series that lost it a teensy little bit towards the end.

  • There was this guy's comment I remember reading on one of the next-to-last videos of Gungrave here and I never want to forget what he said about the ending.

"...Everybody is falling apart either physically or mentally. Anyone who isn't, is already dead or dying."

Somehow, like what you just said, that description has given this anime an even sweeter flavor for me. I love the anime's ending too, the game is great when I feel I need "awesomeness" but the anime is just...embracing.

  • The progression of events, the development of every individual character, the symbolism and philosophies of them all, the music tone representing every gravital shift from plot to detail to even a costume change or aging, and sure as hell the awesome background this series was based on. This is what it takes to make a good anime, hell, a legendary one, even if it was short-lived.

You almost begin to feel like you're aging WITH the characters, watching this series felt like a long time for me.

  • *GLASSBREAKS*

    *GUNSHOT*

  • music in gungrave are so classy.

  • There's no where to get this song online.

Could someone PLEASE send me this?

    This is absolutely fantastic.

  • i have all music from gungrave, i will give you link to download, you have email?

and you know what music type is this?is this kind of jazz?

  • or just youtube download it into an mp3 ;D

  • the greatest nostalgic scene, when they put this music.

i think and i ask myself, how they can get a lot of nostalgic in this anime, maybe they must have some very sad in their life to make this music.

  • i don't really watch Gungrave but one day I saw it on tv and found out it was the very last episode..

and when that Brandon guy got shot from the elevator.. and i remember this song was playing!

how melancholic, in a sunny day it was. great song! <3

  • that wasnt the last episode

  • lol that was the first,

btw I like the anime but it sorta took a turn from what I thought it would be, I thought it would of been alittle like helising(sp) or what ever it's called, don't get me wrong I loved the anime but a little more action would of been nice. and of course I love the music in the game and anime, smooth jazz and what not.

  • lol i know exactly what u mean with him stepping out looking all badass and killing monsters but frankly i preffered it the way it was cause for me the plot is more important than all those flashy effects...mostly.

  • love hearing this song while laying peacefully on the park grass...

  • Remember that one time...

  • <33

  • The tune is either one with a mood that's perfectly content or heartwrenchingly sad.

  • Oh man...didnt they play this song when Kugashira Bunji died! No man..."Anici" (brother or bro') man...he was soo cool...im bout to cry just thinking about how sad this show is....

  • they also played it when brandon was shot out of the elevator. the part where he says "i remember a blue sky...i remember the pure white clouds...i remember...i...remember..."

  • @shinofreak011 YES! I listened, after a long time, to a song by Maximum the Hormone called 'Koi No Mega Lover'. One of the lines in it features the word 'Aniki', and it brought back memories of Kugashira Bunji referring to Brandon in that way. He was my most favourite character in it as well, aside from Bear Walken. What a tragic state of affairs.

  • sometimes I feel music is the only thing worth in life

  • yep

I cant imagine a world without music.

Dunno what i would do if i lost my ability to hear.

  • It's pretty hard to not get a little sad when listening to this. It really shows alot about the series. It's really sad, but the music is so good that you have to keep listening.

  • The best track of the RIGHTHEAD GUNGRAVE SOUNDTRACK thank you Tsuneo Imahori

  • how can i down load???

  • have the soundtrack on cd and i love hit very much

    must hear it tonight^^

  • Love this Music.

  • This song is a goosebumper/tear-jerker. No joke, this is the most bittersweet track in the whole anime, and high up on the list of all animes in general. It ties up the entire tragedy that the Gungrave storyline turns out to be. A true story of a friendship that is never lost.

  • so beautiful to bad gungrave didnt get the publicity it deserved :/

    ohwell w/e i love it.

  • yo no me canso de ecuharla y me costo trabajo encontrar el enlace
