@falala74 ok let's weigh the odds here. Cop gets a call on his/her radio and quickly goes to where she was called. When /he/she gets there, a person has a gun pointed straight at them. At that point the officer can either stand there and become a victim or try to prevent any dangers. Unfortunately, the bullet didn't end up where it should have, and killed the suspect.

Enough with the "leg shot" comments. Geeze.... Police are NOT TRAINED TO shoot a suspect in the leg, arm. or anywhere other then a "K5 Zone" which is the chest and head. The firearm is always a last resort but when IT IS PULLED and fired ..someone is supposed to die...from at least 2 shots. (Double tapping is standard training at the pistol range) Never blame a cop for doing what he has been trained to do.. especially when it comes to lethal force.
